Can a guy get paid to cuddle on here?

  • @Newlife2022 the fee structure for men (monthly fee) and women (commission) is different.

Which works out as cheaper or dearer depends on how many bookings you have.

  • @CuddleDuncan. This reminds me of a scene from The Sting:

Kid Twist: Now how do you want to work this? Flat rate or percentage?

    Benny Garfield: Who's the mark?

    Kid Twist: [very difficult mark]

    Benny Garfield: Flat rate.

  • I get amused when someone new gets on the forum all fired up about being a professional and deletes shortly afterward.
At least sometimes they have started a good thread.

  • "Feelings? Look mate, you know who has a lot of feelings? Blokes who bludgeon their wife to death with a golf trophy. Professionals have standards."

  • Sure a guy can get paid to cuddle. will you ? Dunno

  • @cogsandgears And you didn't tell someone to their face that they're not as good looking as you thought. Very logical points about double standards for beauty and objectifcation.

  • Yes absolutely. I recently paid a professional male cuddler. Had a great session. I would pay again for sure. Even though I am a professional cuddler myself. It was nice to change that up for sure. :)

Edited due to being on the wrong thread.

  • Gotta love the white knights in here currying favor. 😊

  • @supadupa I prefer what you call white knights to some of the posts you have made. Nevertheless, I like that we are all free to post here (in spite of a suggestion made by another member in another thread to have another forum that is closed) and I have appreciated your contributions in some way. Have a good evening, for real :)

  • @supadupa I don't understand your comment. White knighting is usually a thing applied to men from other men as as a means to attempt to de legitimise when a man is sticking up for a woman at what the person deems as standing up for the woman at all costs just so you look better. Usually this is an accusation made by men who carry resentment towards women for whatever reason.
I am trying to see what comments might have sparked you to make this statement , considering the only comments I see from men sticking up for women is the ones offering support to the pro who stated she was seemingly shamed for her appearance, age , and weight , which anybody with manners should know better 🙄

I am paying for the man to do the emotional labor of putting my wishes above his own.

    @cogsandgears exactly!

I understand the OP deleted his account, and I’ve seen hordes of male pros come and go, but for anyone else who’s reading this I can say that I have recouped my $20/month investment as a pro, and I have been hired by both men and women. As @safensecure4u2 said, professional cuddling, especially for a man, is no get-rich-quick scheme. In fact, it’s not even a lucrative side hustle. I think the market will improve in the future, but we have a whole world to change before male professional cuddlers get hired as much as female professional cuddlers do. What makes it worth it for me is the ability to provide a service people can’t get anywhere else* and be compensated for it.

[*] yes, people may be able to get cuddling elsewhere, but there’s nothing like hiring a professional who knows how to hold space for you and make your comfort and healing their priority.

@CuddleWho I agree that there is a double standard where if men talk about a woman in terms of attractiveness only, he is more likely to get called out for for being an objectifying prick, whereas women seem to get more of a pass for the same behavior. There are all sorts of double standards when comparing men and women and that is for sure one of them. I appreciate your forum posts and bluntness.

However I do agree with other posters is that the most abrasiveness thing in that other post was that he called her unattractive to her face, @cogsandgears did not do this. I think this is what many were critical of. The ones who called him out for valuing attractiveness were upholding a double standard. I do agree though that pictures should be accurate so we do not mislead people.

  • @sunnysideup Nowhere in that post does it say he called her unattractive to her face. He does say he brought up to her how old her pictures are, which seems completely reasonable to me.

  • Everyone. Moving this to "Professional Cuddling" forum. Yet another "I'm male and want to be make $, but first, lemme delete my profile" thread. NEXT.

  • It doesn't show he said that because he edited it out, to (after the fact).try changing the narrative.

Further, when one woman says, "I..." she is speaking her truth. You can disagree all you like with either, but it's hardly a double standard of tolerance when you consider the wording and impact.

The other was a male OP looking for validation when he treated someone poorly to their face. She was making a comment about how Pros may be evaluated given her experience of consideration.

It's really not the same thing nor a case for claiming a double standard within the community.
