Especially on a day when you really long for connection
Breathwork and meditation, especially in a group
Honestly, that sounds like a great idea @friendlyhugs99. I've been trying to develop those skills off and on, but still haven't had that "click" yet. Thanks for the practice reminder.
I find it easier to relax into the mindset at weekends. Evening breathwork after the day job is a bit hit and miss
This is quite a good one for practice, but it's nicer in person.
I'm going to link my other thread about this because I think we are thinking of the same kinds of activities. https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/14492/hair-washing-and-other-underrated-platonic-touch-activities#latest
Thank you!
Hiking and spending time around nature, especially during the fall.
Or eating a hearty meal, especially something with good memories attached to eating it.
Actually I meant "how to find that warm fuzzy feeling when you are alone" but that other thread has some great ideas for spending time with other people.
Bachata dancing or slow dancing.
Watching any Disney movie/Winnie the Pooh movies while drinking hot coco or tea In the fall on a rainy day with some kind of autumn candle going. 🥰 I also love having the fireplace YouTube videos with relaxing music bc I don’t have a real fireplace haha but that gives me a fulfilling spirit just like cuddling. Puppy snuggles don’t hurt either ♥️
Just watched this Netflix movie called End of the Road. The family in it gave me that feeling. Also, adult coloring used to but I haven't gotten around to continuing it sadly.
@Ripley54566 Totally agree about being in nature ... here in Australia it's just the start of spring, so the weather is warming up again and flowers are coming out.
I absolutely love the movie, Secret Life of Walter Mitty!!! I love everything about that movie and it definitely makes me smile and feel good inside!!!
@cylee1180 I second bachata dancing! It's an easier intro into Latin/Afro-Latin dancing than salsa (in my opinion). Most cities have a weekly class you can join if you're interested @GreyingBear. Bonus = making new friends in the dance community.
@HealingHazel Yeah! I love it so much!
