I was having a mania and remembered an Law and Order:SVU episode where there was a cuddle room. So i looked to see if one was in my area and this popped up.
Law and Order: SVU? Were there any survivors in the cuddle room? It would have been a better impression had you seen in referenced on the Hallmark Channel.
they had a cuddle room in law and order SVU???!!! didn't know that I found out about cuddle therapy through Anthony Padilla's youtube video. He used to be part of Smosh Youtube channel, then he quit and he started his own channel. he interviews super interesting people with unique jobs and experiences.
then I googled "cuddle therapy" and found this site. glad i did. thank you anthony
I saw a woman on LinkedIN who listed her occupation as “professional cuddler”. I thought she was joking but it prompted me to do an online search about cuddling and that search led me here.
I was texting with a friend who lives out of town and missing him. I said “sometimes I just need a hug” and then I decided to Google “need a hug” and was shocked to see there was such a thing! This site was best on the list.
@txtom @EricTea lol if memory serves me right a suspect went to the cuddle room. They were trying to find him or something. I remember the owner was like "this is about intimacy " and in the backroom this big dude was being a lil spoon. It stuck with me all these years

It started at therapy. I had been talking about touch starvation, and my therapist commented that some people see prostitutes to get the physical affection they need. Which was tempting for that reason, but sex wasn't what I needed. Then I remembered that professional cuddlers were a thing, did some searching, and found this site. I also found another cuddling site that looked like it would be good if I still wanted the other option. I don't remember which site that was. I kinda noped out of there.
I don't recall where/when my initial exposure to the idea of professional cuddlers was. Possibly something to do with cuddle parties.
Similar to @carrieanne , i googled “I need a hug” or something like that, which led me to a cuddling site, and than a cuddler from there told me about here 🌌

I don't rightly recall (it's been at least a decade). If my memory's not playing tricks on me, I think it was one of the asexual groups on FetLife that pointed me this way. And wouldn't you know it, I ended up switching sites! I'm here far more often than I'm there. Kink is great and all, but platonic cuddling is better.

I saw a buzz feed video years ago. They were doing a thing on jobs you’d never heard of and there was this woman who was a professional cuddler. I remember thinking “man anything can be a job now-a-days” - mainly because they’d done another video about a woman who was a “professional dog” too. Well the cuddling video stuck with me all these years and after the lockdown I’d decided to see what sites were out there. Of the few I’d browsed around, this was by far the best. It just has a different energy than the other sites, less pressure.
I already knew about one corner of the cuddle world, having discovered it by accident, and was googling to see .... well if there was a cuddle world, or was it basically just the bit I knew.
I saw this site mentioned in a group I’m in on FB. Decided to click the link because I had never heard of a professional cuddler before. Started reading through the site & ended up sticking around.
My significant other! I recently moved away from him, and he knows how much I enjoy touch and closeness, he's not big on it anyway, and he knew someone who did it before. It was basically, hey, go do this, it'll feed your soul. He was right! I leave every cuddle with dilated pupils like I'm in drugs. The power of cuddles! 😂😍
This one is awesome! Bill Nye the Science Guy! He did a segment on Bill Nye Saves The World on cuddling and pro cuddles. I do know some people think pros get in it for the wrong reasons but how can it be wrong if The Science Guy led you here? Don't answer that question... I'm sure some of you have answers. hahahaha
I first saw professional cuddling in an article on Huffington Post. I started seriously considering it about four years ago and eventually the internet led me here.

I found out about this website in 2013. I had first started going to Cuddle parties around that time. I think there was one other site that has since shut down. Someone in one of the cuddle parties mentioned this website.

I was laid up with an ankle injury and a friend came over for lunch. She actually showed me the site and said that for the caring, compassionate person that I am to pretty much everyone in my life, I should consider looking into it because I truly help others connect with themselves on a real level and know how to hear what others are saying vs just waiting to respond.
After about 3 weeks of research, checking out other sites to get a sense of the community, I began my journey. 4 years later and it's incredible how many peoples lives I've touched and they too, having touched, my life. 💓💓💓

Local news showed where you could go to a business and they had rooms where you could pay someone to cuddle there. I looked online. Found this site. I don't think that business is around anymore.
@Bear i wonder if it's possible to get our own regular meet and greet setups going. Would do wonders for awareness.
