Just wanted to share my AWESOME news!

I have 2 younger sisters & I recently found out that the one that lives closest to me is finally pregnant... with TWINS! She is a twin & also got pregnant via IUI bc the natural way wasn't working for her & her husband.

My other sister who lives in NC just had her 3rd IUI & they implanted 3 viable eggs so if that works she could end up pregnant at the same time as her twin with triplets!

Don't mind me, over here scream bawling with excitement & thinking about how poor I'm gonna be come Christmas time! I've been waiting to be the crafty, FUN aunt since I was 20 & realized I didn't want kids of my own.

Just wanted to share! If you're an aunt & uncle, what are some fun things you do with your nieces & nephews?

    @wigglehugs Christmas is rough. I went to see my nieces in Boston and couldn't stop taking them to do whatever they wanted. There's something about nieces and nephews that demands being spoiled. Especially if you're like me and love giving gifts those girls got spoiled. Congrats!!!

    That's awesome. I wish them well.

    I am not a blood uncle, yet my godson calls me, uncle Bear. I've taken him bowling and to the movies, road trips if he wants. Both his parents passed away and he lives with his aunt. I also talked to him when he needs someone to listen.

    I give fun Christmas gifts to nephews & nieces. Drum sets, air horns, cymbals, electric guitars and amps. Things that will allow them to express their artistic and creative side in a way that their parents will HAVE to notice.

    Congratulations! Definitely something to celebrate! 🎉

    I believe spending time with your nieces and nephews, and doing things with them, would be one of the best gifts you could give them. I spent last Christmas with my little nieces, and I was surprised to see it required very little to make them happy. I did get them a bracelet making set, so I helped them make bracelets for me haha. We also baked some cookies together, which was a fun little group thing to do. And they occasionally needed chewing gum, which I obliged to :)

    Wonderful news for you and your family!!
    Best activities - when as babies, take them around in stroller outside and even if they’re non-verbal, they will save words in their minds and will use later. Let them examine - touch, smell things and talk about everything!!
    Them seeing, knowing, understanding is the best!
    By 3 or 4 - to the park to swing and run and run! I even had a wrist lead to attach to my grandson’s wrist and mine when he first started walking so we could walk around outside. Without the attachment he would’ve run away, otherwise.(it’s just wrist to wrist, lol!)
    Have so much fun!

    That's gonna be so fun!! I think the best is sharing experiences where you're the only adult, and can be like another kid with them. Re-exploring the world alongside kids at any age is always a great time for all.

    Awww congrats auntie! I have felt the same way and finally became an uncle 3 years ago. Christmas may become pricey but it’s so worth it. That could be a lot of birthdays too, wow!

    I also don't want to have kids of my own, but I care deeply about them and adore my niece.

    When she was little, we played never-ending games of all sorts, throughout the years. I would also take her with me on photography adventures, looking for wildlife. On rare occasions like her birthday, I would "interview" her to get a snapshot of her life at that age, such as asking her favorite book, song, stuffed animal, movie, who's her best friend, her favorite outdoor activity, etc. So fun!

    Also don't forget that even while having fun, you can still encourage good habits and impress upon them important concepts about their worth. Always respect them and let them have healthy boundaries and reasonable control over their choices.
