I've been fortunate to share in some new experiences during initial meet ups with cuddle buddies by sharing a meal, in particular Pho and Korean BBQ, both for the first time🤤🤤

You're meeting up with a potential cuddle buddy yourself and agreed to meet up at the restaurant of your choice. You can choose somewhere local to you, but also a memorable spot not nearby. Where do you choose and what do you recommend as a dish?

Edit: My serious response is my favorite food, Korean BBQ. My favorite place is down the street from me (despite all the places I have eaten in K-Town.) My favorite menu items are Kalbi (esp spicy!), Mesquite Pork, and Bulgogi.

Comfort food for me is pizza and pasta. There are are times I crave sweets. For a cuddle meet up, I would probably go somewhere like a coffee shop where we could talk and get to know each other in a informal way.

Let's see, if they're up for bit of variety, I'd opt for a tapas place called Marcella's - little bit of a drive but tapas soooo🤷

I like @Calibrate715 idea of a Tapas style place. We have a few around here and always have rather unique items that anyone can find SOMETHING that pleases the palate . Plus, they always have good drinks too.

Some good stuff I’ve had are lamb lollipops, glazed pork tacos, avocado fries, all kinds of sushi and just so many other unique spins on every day comfort food items .

I'm in the middle of nowhere surrounded by cattle ranches, so there aren't any nearby options. 😆 But I firstly always want to go somewhere the other person would enjoy. If they're open, then somewhere that would be unlikely to upset our tummies, since in your scenario, we're about to cuddle.

I deeply appreciated one of my cuddle friends last week, who knew I was vegan and looked up and chose a vegan restaurant for us to go to together, even though they are most assuredly a carnivore. Sweetness never ceases to amaze... 🫠

On a cold snowy Ohio morning… black coffee and bacon does the trick !

@OhioMike With you on the bacon but can't do the black coffee lol. Opened up the blinds this morning and said "What fresh hell is this?" I wasn't even wearing a coat two days ago. 😆

Traveling to Buffalo in the a.m. where it seems I'll encounter more of the white stuff. Comfort bacon will definitely be needed.

@OhioMike Ohhhh, I faced that exact scenario when we got all that snow at the end of December. My husband tried to be nice and go fetch some at 6 a.m. but the car got stuck lol. Thank god I at least had almond milk here to make it palatable.

And yes - going to see my dad.

A family owned Italian restaurant one town over from me is my favorite. The menu includes traditional, vegan, and seafood options, plus they have a full bar. The service is impeccable and they're so gracious. I could gnosh on their fresh bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar any day.

Then after lunch (or dinner) we do a nice walk through the park that has a 360 view of the valley.

Food has always been my comfort during sad times, hard times, happy times.. Why i'm so dang soft n cuddly LOL.. But in the mornings, coffee.. for sure, Bustelo all the way. And honestly anything salty or cheesy. Tonight I fixed myself a bison/beef burger seasoned, sauteed on a bed of onions and butter. on a crispy bun with all the toppings... and it was delish.

@KatCuddles77 I just discovered how tasty Bustelo is! I wasn't expecting much as it was the only non-Aldi brand the store had. Definitely a huge fan now☕
