What is your favorite equation containing 𝛑?

Mine is e^i𝛑+1=0 because it links the imaginary number i with Euler’s number e and 𝛑, as well as zero!

    My favorite equation doesn't involve pi - and I must confess that I don't have any digits beyond 3.14 memorized because, well, because I can look it up if needed.

    But anyways, my favorite equation is A = P(e)^rt

    Electrical engineering is full of important equations using e, but not so many using 𝛑. My favorite equation involving 𝛑, is
    T = 2Ο€βˆšL/g, where T is the period of a pendulum, L is the length, and g is the universal gravitational constant.

    Solving for length, we get L=gT^2/4𝛑^2. Being a birder, I know that the period at which a bird (or most any other flying creature) flaps its wings is approximately the same as the period of a pendulum of the same length. This is a good way to estimate the size of a distant bird in flight, and that can help in determining the identification of the bird.

    I've always liked that clock @ChessGirl . Thanks to @dave31415 I know 5 digits of pi, Lol.. @MrPaul, your fave equation is definitely one of my faves, I think. @GreatHornedOwl, it's fascinating to see you apply an equation to birding.
