Is there anything more the site could do to promote cuddle workshops?
I have a feeling that workshops will spread cuddle power more than one to one's
Not sure what else this site could do. I think it's just a matter of you organizing one. Message those cuddlers who are organizing cuddle Meet & Greets. They could offer advice, I bet.
The site seems to cover its intent. A place to find people with the common interest of cuddling.
There are other places in regards to workshops.
Cuddle Comfort is a an enthusiast website in history and outlook, even though the professional cuddling aspect has become very important in recent years. Cuddle workshops are almost always paid events. Why should CC devote resources to subsidising somebody else's marketing?
The only form of advertising allowed on Cuddle Comfort is community cuddle events and, as already mentioned, I'm not sure what else the site could do. That's already a big step.

@friendlyhugging A “community cuddle event” is a “meet-n-greet,” an informal social event where people are mostly just chatting. A cuddle workshop is more of a classroom or teaching session.

To answer your question about the difference between a meet-n-greet and a cuddle workshop, the purpose of a meet-n-greet is to come and meet up with others in the cuddle community. Cuddles may happen at these events, but that isn’t their focus. A cuddle workshop, on the other hand, is a structured event, usually with a facilitator, whose focus is to ease the participants into sharing touch and cuddles. Most of the time such events start with a mandatory discussion where they cover the rules of the event, and discuss how to communicate boundaries, and giving and receiving consent. This is then typically followed by a series of exercises aimed at leading into freeform cuddle time where participants are free to ask and give or receive touch.

@friendlyhugging Sorry. Basically, the difference between different types of events with the same theme or subject is how much they cost, and who gets paid.
Community events are basically free. Cuddle workshops/parties are usually commercial undertakings.
This is why community events often take place in parks - it doesn't cost anything. Whereas for a cuddle workshop the room has to be paid for.
Cuddle Comfort is a commercial entity and wishes to support the cuddle community, but not to the extent of helping out other commercial entities.
I’m interested in setting up a cuddle workshop for pros to attend. It would be similar to the meet and greet established protocol- in that it would be a bring your own item or contribution, but otherwise wouldn’t be charging. Any pros please message me if you’re interested in this!
