...because playing with electricity is fun
Wireless electricity distribution is just around the corner.
Sending arcs though a glass tube to a copper wire on top and lighting a light bulb.
This is all brilliant.
Is the 409 bottle ok? In the second video he has died.
Nikola Tesla invented this as a means of wireless power transmission which never came. Now it's mostly used for science experiments and to just look cool. A small Tesla coil like the one I have produces voltages in the tens of thousands while a much larger one can do a few million volts.
Mike, is this your channel? I want to play with that. All I have is a plasma ball. @Mike403
@PrettyLuv - yeah but it's not a real channel that is expecting an audience. I'm just using it as a method of sharing videos. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KDG6CFK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
It's high voltage, but low current. You'll feel a shock if you get zapped, but it's not lethal although it might burn your skin if you let it arc to it for more than a few seconds.
@Mike403 sweet. I’d love to build it from scratch though. Make a couple of them
