The Great Upper Maine Orange Crested Pumpkin is nearly extinct because of the growing number of vegetarians. Think of this when you see pumpkins reduced to gelatinous misshapen puddles of minutiae by pumpkin cannons at pumpkin patches. Or burned alive from the inside out by a waxen incendiary sphere solely to highlight the knife scars inflicted on them by man. Look inside yourself and ask yourself…are you a squash murderer? I know Sara Lee is.

If by “whipped topping” you mean Kool Whip, absolutely not it is an abomination in the eyes of God and Man and taste buds everywhere. If you mean real whipped cream then bring the whole bowl because imma eat a LOT of pie with it.

@CuddleHugs01234 unfortunately I do not cook much for myself. My grandma used to make a dumpling soup that was to die for. Total comfort food and I have not had it in a long time.
The first time I had pumpkin soup was like probably 20 years ago and never found one similar. Just recently I had a squash soup and that was pretty good and similar.
Pumpkin pie with the whip cream is a mandatory for my fam on Turkey Day!!!
We have SEVERAL pumpkin pie versions & whip cream versions as some are GF, low glycemic, and a sweet potato pie 🥧 😋 is in the rounds.
My fam is large and we cook n bake all the versions from scratch. Store bought anything besides salad is a no no. Haha. 😂 My aunties used to have contests on whom hosted and made the best pies and whip cream. Great 😊 childhood memories and calories still with me to this day ! 🤭

My nickname is pumpkin pie. But at Starbucks they call me pumpkin spice.
Sometimes it hurts me and is more prevalent in the fall than any other time of the year.
