I found taking my shaving stuff and doing that stuff outside and not spitting toothpaste (apparently I use a lot) into the sink keeps the sink from getting clogged.

tip: If you're out and about without access to some of the other hiccup cures, try this. Take a deep breath, packing your lungs so you cannot fit any more air in and hold it for 30 seconds, or for the period of at least 2 hiccup cycles. This prevents the diaphragm spasm and breaks the cycle of hiccups.
@1_teddybear my grandmother's cure for hiccups was: have someone hold your ears closed and take 10 small sips of water. It works -- for probably the same reason you mention!
If you're by yourself, you can still do this holding your own ears closed and either (1) using a straw; or (2) holding the water in your mouth and swallowing it in 10 gulps. Looks a little weird in public, but I've done it!

You can use Coke, can or bottle , not a fountain to clean battery terminals and if driving in the rain you get that slimy film left behind the wipers pour Coke on the windshield.

Vinegar can soften hard water mineral buildup enough for it to be scrubbed off with a cloth. Keeping some in a spray bottle makes it easy to apply. It takes a lot of scrubbing if the mineral buildup is heavy, but it works. I do this regularly to keep my kitchen faucet looking nice. I've also used this to clean up a heavily encrusted shower head and tub faucet handles. Just be sure to rise the vinegar off after you're done cleaning so the acid in it doesn't corrode the metal.
If you burn wood for heat and your stove doesn't have an ash grate, a spider strainer or frying basket serves as the perfect tool for sifting small but useful pieces of charcoal from the ashes so you don't have to waste them.
Use 1 cup cleansing vinegar, and one cup of blue dawn. Heat up the vinegar and pour into a spray bottle. Add the blue dawn into the bottle and shake. Spray on your tub and leave for hour and then just rinse. No more scrubbing!!
