@achetocuddle Thank you for the nice comment, it was very sweet of you
One alternative to cuddling that involves a fair bit of platonic touch is partner dancing. Salsa, swing, merengue, bachata and, line dancing all have partner options. As a person in many dance communities I have found so many wonderful people. Dance community cultures are super embracing and supportive of new people. It’s usually not very expensive. 10$ bucks a lesson where I live. Or $10 to get in to a whole night of dancing. If dance sounds intimidating the up side is there are usually other people there who are dancing for the first time, and end up laughing together and becoming fast friends. Something to consider.
@silver102 , Have.. you ever asked someone to cuddle in person? I think it sounds ridiculous and I still kind of laugh when I think about it, but I've done this a few times but these are people I have spoken to a few times and have come to know. I'm fairly shy and not a fan of engaging women and I'd rather.. kind of not do it but yet I have.
I've had bizarre luck (?) cuddling with people I have met in person where I did not ask and it just has happened. I have also asked some, only three, but only one was a yes and super eager and oddly that was a person I met at a dog park.
It takes me quite a bit to ask, and I don't do it often, but cuddling can be 'free'
Are you part of any communities or go to places where you meet and see people often?
I'd support the dance option posted above and if I thought I was getting along well enough with someone I would probably be dumb enough to ask if there was some laughter shared.
@achetocuddle Cuddle Confront lol
It is free, so long as you can find someone willing to cuddle you (everyone can).
@silver102 hey man. For what it’s worth, you’re not alone. I’m in a very similar boat. I struggle with depression (largely due to loneliness and being touch starved), and it’s almost impossible to find an enthusiast to cuddle with (I assume it’s not as bad if you’re open to cuddling men, but I can’t give any insight into that). And yeah it’d cost about $300-600 a month for just 3 to 6 hours of cuddling which is incredibly steep. I just wanted to encourage you and say it’s not you. It’s not necessarily your looks, your bio, or anything like that. It’s just genuinely a difficult need to take care of. I’d suggest finding some threads on here to interact with. There are some great people here. Honestly I’ve started seeing this site as more of a place to socialize with like-minded people via the forums, and have made finding someone to cuddle with a secondary objective. That’s made it a bit easier for me personally because it feels a bit less depressing when I come to the site now, but obviously everyone’s experience is unique ☺️. Stay strong man. Best of luck to you!
I'm a new enthusiast. About ready to hire a pro just to streamline the process because it's giving me anxiety 🤷
@BigAndCuddly27
Hello, thank you so much for the words of encouragement I really appreciate your understanding. Thanks!
@AimeeJ Welcome to CC.
@pmvines This. 👌🏽👏🏽🤌🏽 I call them Cudd-cels.
There are plenty of people on here who do incessantly whine with no regard to personal insight, growth, or change and it's almost Incel level of resentment towards pro cuddlers and women in general, and blame everything on their problems instead of looking inward. Essentially writing their own ticket to never finding a cuddle friend.
@achetocuddle Also this. 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 Glad I’m not the only one who sees this pattern…even if it’s denied.
Not surprised you didn't miss an opportunity to put me down.
