I have anxiety and depression and would love someone to cuddle with regularly to help me heal my depression.
But the fees that people charge are too much it is not something I can afford very frequently.
Not all people on here charge to meet up. When you search, you can eliminate pros from search results to find enthusiasts who don't charge.
Thank you for the response. It's just in my particular area there aren't many cuddlers anyway and definitely not free.
Try looking for cuddle parties or cuddle workshops or similar things. They cost much less and can be very beneficial.
Meetup.com is a good site to find such things, at least it is here in London.
I also have anxiety and depression, and cuddling has done me a huge amount of good. Cuddling is not a cure obviously, but it can be really helpful. You are on the right track.
@silver102 I understand, I charge nothing to cuddle however...Whoo, Great Britain is quite the distance though. Lol😊
Yeah take heed to @CuddleDuncan's advice and perhaps look into cuddle parties. And it's true , cuddling isn't a cure but it is helpful for when you're having a hard time and just need a good warm hug to settle yourself. 🫂😊
@Katota
Honestly, the fact that you have even _thought _ about cuddling with me without charge has really made me smile
Thank you for making my day
I’m with you on that one. Many people simply charge too much, or don’t respond. It’s difficult to find someone in general who wants the same benefits
@silver102 Oh! Lol😄 Glad to get a smile out of ya!😁 Not a problem, yeah I am very available and free of charge.😁 Sadly I'm just not local to you is all.😌
I know what ya mean. It really is unfortunate. I can't afford it anymore either. I was trying to get this gig in May and it fell through. Was hoping to use the extra money for some more cuddles. Now I hope this thread isn't closed. They generally don't want anyone to whine about expensive cuddling rates
Difference between whining and expressing something though
Platonic cuddling is still very new as an industry/community. It hasn't really caught on in the general public yet and is only just starting to reach the public conscience. So, people have to start the seeds for it to grow in areas where it hasn't picked up yet. If there aren't a lot of enthusiasts in your area, try spreading the word. Create groups, network. Even if you are not the type to host events, you can connect with others who are and give them encouragement and support to do so - they may simply be waiting for an audience thinking they too are alone.
"If you build it, they will come."
It's very subjective to determine if someone is whining or not.
Whether it’s whining or not is mostly determined by the listener.
@silver102 I have gone to cuddleparty.com and meetup.com. I have also posted on ok Cupid for a cuddle partner. Being very specific about respecting boundaries and such. You could even try making your own page on Facebook.
I considered trying to use the phone program where you swipe people left or right when I was originally trying to find a cuddle partner. I never did and I can't remember what it's called but you could potentially give it a try. I am not sure how well it would work but if you're wanting to put in some extra effort maybe it could work out?
Human touch, at least for me, is a very real therapeutic salve for me. I was quite fond of cuddling prior to the pandemic, however, since the pandemic, I have lost a certain amount of desire to be around people. We all saw the worst in humanity during the pandemic and it's been hard for me to trust people. All that said, cuddling helps soothe the soul, and ease the depression cycles I sometimes have to contend with. I agree with @cuddlefaery that "if you build it, they will come." If you cannot find what you are looking for, create conditions that will make it appear on your own. In my past, when I could not find an asexual community or an LGBTQIA+ gaming community, I created them on my own, solving the problem of not finding what I was looking for. I believe you could replicate what I have done, for yourself, with the same success rate.
We all saw the worst in humanity during the pandemic and it's been hard for me to trust people.
It's been a wild decade, that's for sure
@silver102 Have you tried finding an enthusiast? If not, give that a whirl. If you can’t find one, try to save up for cuddling. I’m not sure it’ll solve all your anxiety or depression, but cuddling does help with many things. I enjoyed being an enthusiast for ten months, but when I needed extra work hours, I became a pro. Just as you wish cuddling was free, I’m wishing groceries were free. I’m not being a smart Alec, but life does cost money. I love cuddling so that why I chose it as one of my part time jobs. Sending you a big free virtual hug. 🤗 Big hugs!!!
Hello everyone,
Please don't get the impression that I am asking women to reduce cuddling rates. Obviously, there has to be an incentive for cuddlers to want to cuddle you - just because I am lonely, depressed and need a cuddle, doesn't mean that cuddlers are in the same situation! Of course an incentive is required! And cuddlers are absolutely allowed to charge what they perceive as an incentive
Hi @silver102 thank you for clarifying! I have an idea that may help! Try opening up about your desire to cuddle more often with other enthusiasts. Sometimes getting more comfortable with sharing exactly what you want will help you find the right people who may also want and need more cuddles.
@silver102 I am also an enthusiast who cuddles for free, and if we ever cross paths, I'd be happy to get to know you and potentially cuddle! I am visiting England this year, though not sure exactly where, yet.

@SunsetSnuggles Aww thank you, that is very sweet of you
Any free cuddlers in Toronto Canada?
Deleted since people were unable to read that it was in reference to another thread even though it was clearly stated.
Yeah, whether someone is considered a whiner is subjective here and often determined by listeners who think they are rarely if ever wrong.
I hope the OP meets a cuddler. Just from this thread I get the feeling he's a nice person. I'm always sad when someone who seems nice but is far away makes a thread like this because I don't get to meet them.
and often determined by listeners who think they are rarely if ever wrong.
Saying something is subjective and following up with a subjective statement. Interesting how people think their “objectivity” is not subjective when it is actually just another opinion.
Just an observation.
@silver102 Many pros will negotiate with sincere people that they trust who discuss their situation in good faith. Not all pros put money first. Just ask. I knew a pro who did some pro bono sessions because she was just a good person. But like everything on the site you have to ask first.
@silver102 I objectively do not think you're whining at all . You are just expressing yourself and your truth . There are plenty of people on here who do incessantly whine with no regard to personal insight , growth , or change and it's almost Incel level of resentment towards pro cuddlers and women in general, and blame everything on their problems instead of looking inward . Essentially writing their own ticket to never finding a cuddle friend. Then when something is said about it there are whiners who say that you are being a part of a clique for having a difference of opinion and not pandering to the whining . However , you my friend are no whiner, and I totally respect what you are saying as well as your way if saying it . I appreciate your presence on the forums and am glad that you are here . Please feel free to message me any time .
@FunCartel Not surprised you didn't miss an opportunity to put me down. Also you are correct in your observation
@achetocuddle Wasn’t putting you down, I was putting the statement down. When you say something is subjective and then point a general finger in a negative way and basically saying most people that do that are know-it-alls it is again using subjectivity in a negative way. If it was aimed at you I would have tagged you. I hope you can appreciate the nuance. If not, then I do not know what to tell you. I did not attack you or your character, and I don’t know where you are getting the idea that I take the opportunity to attack you all the time. That is bizarre. I haven’t even responded to one of your posts in probably two or more years.
@pmvines Thank you so so much for the endearing comment, I really appreciate it and it made me smile knowing that a stranger out there in the world is being supportive. Thank you very much Pmvines
