Cuddling is an act of showing affection, safety, trust, and comfort while embracing. It is meant to be a mutually enjoyable experience.

It is a physical connection between two humans. Where both humans agree to lay together and hold each other and different positions. It could be platonic as well as sexual, and it could be intimate in regards to being platonic as well as sexual. It can also be seen as a way of giving comfort to somebody who has trauma as well as caring for somebody after being extremely intimate and close with each other. Look upon it in different aspects and it is best to talk to somebody first before cuddling with new people.
