Quick question to the Cuddle Universe...I see some former cuddlers that use to be on the site are banned. Forgive my ignorance but what do these people do to get banned???

That's funny because several of these individuals (I never met them in person) went on and on about how nice they were and everything was platonic blah blah blah. Well guess some of us weren't telling the whole truth. LOL!
Today at Walmart my 7 yo GS said something that I wasn’t paying much attention to followed by “Netflix and Chill”. I’m so sick of all the crappy stuff being put on YouTube by immature teenage & 20 something guys who think it’s funny to bait little kids into picking up these things. So many crappy people out there Of course he can’t watch YouTube anymore because of this, but even if he goes to a friends house and it’s on, he’s going to hear this stuff. Children just aren’t allowed to be children anymore are they? I just said don’t say that and then of course he had 1 million questions like why not? So many guys on this site put that in their profile. Then driving home I’m listening to PBS and they’re talking about how most GenZ ers are getting their political news from TikTok. Just wow. Dumbing down of society, nothing new.
@StarWars80 it doesn’t really matter that’s why the mods are here they handle the reports. We don’t need to know every detail that goes on in someone’s life and we definitely don’t need to insinuate inappropriate behavior on anyone.
@g_w_t_w The first time I heard "Netflix and chill" it sounded like a fun thing to do. Then I learned it's neither about Netflix nor chilling. So glad I never said it to anyone.
Why can't people just say what they mean?
People don't always get banned because of being non-platonic. If they are deemed to be troublemakers, talk ugly on the forum over and over (especially using certain verbiage), etc. they can get banned. It really is not a good idea to assume the person is bad, tho it is certainly your right to do that if you want.
@Unscented_Lemon I agree but the game is what makes it fun, right? I thought it was kind of funny until my sweet little seven-year-old GS said it. And then of course he had to keep asking me over and over why is it bad for me to say? why can’t I say it? What does it mean?? I should never have commented and I should’ve just ignored it. Oh well, I’m sure this is just the beginning of all the uncomfortable questions. The only place I had ever heard it was here in men’s profiles so when I kept seeing it written as what to do when cuddling, I had to look it up lol.

The last time ‘Netflix and chill" was discussed here in the forum it was actually found on the profile of a pro.... Also, I don't really use the word Chill but in general, I will not limit my vocabulary to exclude hijacked phrases. if it is ever proper to say it and mean what it literally means, I will have no problem saying it

As a neurodivergent person who has spent their entire life struggling to understand "the rules" of the game, only to constantly find out that there are secret alternate rules that nobody tells you about for various situations, and then also finding out that a lot of people will just make up new rules as they go, and then a lot of the rules are contradictory/unfair/hypocritical/unjust/illogical/counterintuitive/bassackwards .... and then still forever be judged for not playing the game correctly, for not already knowing the rules, for asking too many questions about the rules or the game, for being too "rebellious" by refusing to play the game at all, never quite fitting in or succeding at work as well as one ought because trying to understand the rules and the game got in the way....
No. The game is not fun. Not at all. Sometimes interesting from an anthropological standpoint as an outsider, but never, ever fun.
@StarWars80 I think your question is something we all wonder about but I also truly appreciate the fact that we don't find out why someone was banned. Privacy is extremely important.
I am going to say almost for sure that not everyone who says Watch “Netflix and Chill”. is speaking in some 2024 secret code on purpose. Up until this post-I assumed it meant just what it says.
I am more of a dinosaur and just recently became familiar with "binge watching" so watching Netlix and chilling would seem like a friendly way of telling someone you are OK with just relaxing at home.
Netflix and Chill used to literally mean relaxing and watching Netflix. It's because of the dirty minds on the internet that it evolved to mean something else.
Yeah the more time I spend reading posts here the clearer it is to me when someone is on the brink of getting banned. Sometimes it’s obvious and sometimes it’s just a vibe I get.
