Got stuck in my throat and I had a brain freeze for about 3 minutes. Terrible experience.
This hit deep. Thank you for sharing. I'm truly touched. 🫂

Happy summer vibes! 🐬 🎹
All you can do is wait for it to melt lest you choke, meantime it'd torture on your head and throat . Been there . My condolences ..
Sounds like a terrible experience
I once choked on water during a cuddle session. It just went down wrong I guess into my windpipe ? That was so scary. The client just sat there like frozen and in shock and didn’t help. I was trying to catch my breath. I seriously thought I could die and that person would just get up and leave.
I can imagine the karma now:
Client: pro choked…would not recommend
Pro: client let me choke…stay away
I was not going to book with him again that’s for sure. He showed that he would not be very caring in an emergency. And I totally panicked.
@g_w_t_w Sorry to hear that I hope he at least asked if you were OK after. by the way do your initials stand for gone with the wind?
Is this at troll post? Honest question.
@WestsideMarc 😂
Anyone who makes a troll post about this is a real icehole.
LOL, Tauros!
@lonelytauros Yes that’s what my new name means. Because
-I’ll be gone soon from my current location -gone from the idea of Pro Cuddling -gone from a lot of things that have been my life for the last four years. -That’s also one of my all-time favorite books and movies. And no, that Cuddler really didn’t ask if I was ok. So the rest of the story is that he was one of the last times I agreed to cuddle someone who’s married. Bottom line is, he was terrified that I was going to die with him in my apartment and he was going to have some ‘splaining to do. I’m probably the last time he had a cuddle session. I am proud to have that honor. Let this be a lesson….
A couple of hours later leg fell asleep. To many kids wanted in the pool. Either way im good now. I know my limits on ice and bran muffin tops
@g_w_t_w Yeah, that used to be my mom’s favorite movie. She used to watch it all the time and Id always laugh whenever Clark Gable would say I don’t give a damn and I’d be like hey mom this movie has cussing in it. This was many years ago, so of course to hear something like that on TV was quite the shocker lol 😂
@g_w_t_w that’s horrible! Both the choking and the client just sitting there. It’s been a while since my CPR training but I think you’re supposed to ask the choking person, “Can you speak?!” If you can still talk, cough loudly or cry you don’t need abdominal thrusts/Heimlich. Coughing can help break up what’s causing the problem. But, if you’re alone with someone who is making wheezing, squeaky sounds & can’t respond to your questions, then you gotta call 911. They can walk you through what to do.
@lonelytauros i read that book first time when I was 10. I remember it was a shock to me because I was raised in the north, in KC (Which is technically Midwest), but our education in the 1960s taught a different view of American history than what I read in gwtw. I loved to read more than anything else When I was young. That’s funny about Clark Gable, such a memorable scene. I may have to rewatch that movie because I haven’t in a long time. I think it’s still holds up
@ShaneSchrute Actually, you are providing a lot of really good information. Because that choking while drinking water too fast is such an unexpected, but maybe common reaction when it just goes down into the windpipe?. I couldn’t talk, I was gasping he should’ve pounded on my back. I seriously for a moment thought - could I really die like this? I’ve read that if you’re alone, you should throw your back against a hard sharp edge like a chair back. What I had to do was just gradually relax my lungs, slowly get a breath and calm myself down. It’s the panic I think that could cause the tragic ending but honestly can anyone really die from choking on water? maybe?
No problem @g_w_t_w
I’ve read that when you’re alone you should take a fist and put it between your navel and the very end of your breastbone and use the other hand to shove your fist in and up. Or use a chair with a high back to hit yourself in that same spot on the upper part of your stomach.
The big problem with choking on water is aspirating it; breathing it in. Too much and you’re drowning but that’s probably not possible from a water bottle. The other concern is getting aspiration pneumonia where your lungs have fluid in them. But again I’m not sure how likely that is.
Panic certainly makes the situation extra scary too; it’s hard to tell when panicking what to do; logic isn’t going to factor in.
Be safe and well!
