Every so often, an online name wears out and no longer fits right, like an old outfit. So then it becomes time to replace it. Here's some options I thought of.
I had to pick some sprocket goodness, the toad was over rated. Though Poached made me hungry. And any others that popped into my mind were just... not appropriate 😁
Context on the lemon would help me decide

I'm not sure about the first. I don't think it's really the kind of vibe I'm going for. I don't really know what kind of vibe it has. The second definitely isn't what I'm going for.

That is a great reason. For the lemon, and now that i know that I'd change my vote to lemon_melon, lime don't know why but it seems more Melissa officinalus to me.
But Melissa_officinalus would be even better. I am going on a scientific name hunt this morning.
I used to use Melissa Officinalus on Discord. It feels too formal for here, though.
I would say any lemon name is fine as long as it’s not Don lemon

Lemon Melange leapt at me for you. I personally gravitated towards Lemon Spice myself. Lemon the wet sprocket made me laugh. Even though I’m not familiar with the music.
I would stay with your same name. People may think you are trying to hide something, like your past history. I know of someone that had to change there name because so many people hated them. But the funny thing was they kept posting hateful and disrespectful stuff on the forum so I’m sure people figured it was the same person Just my 2 cents.

@Bear Lemon Melange is what I was going to use before this poll, but I have to say, Iron Lemon is growing on me. I could sing songs, like The Phantom of the Lemon, The Lemon of the Beast, Two Lemons to Midnight, and Inna-gadda-da-lemon.
I'm disappointed that no one has commented on the Monty Python references.
@waynewv One thing I know is that when something no longer feels like me, it's time to do something else. And if I'm trying to hide, announcing a name change and keeping part of the name as well as the pfp is a poor way of doing it.
