He sent you $30.00? If this is true -In fairness to the client-He seems to want to part ways amicably. He did'nt get the cuddle session he came for and he could have sent you nothing. Sounds like bad communication If He payed for an Uber and sent you money I would not describe him as total time waster who should be avoided.

Back to Back appointments might not be the best thing in this business- A buffer of at least 15 minutes could help alleviate the awkwardness of passing someone in the doorway as one client is arriving and the other is leaving.
@BrianOcean No, it wasn't a back to back appointment. The session I was in prior, was my own therapy session. Not a cuddle session. He also didn't knock on the door.
I give myself two hours in between cuddle sessions to refresh my space.
How do you know he showed up 20 minutes early if he didn't call/text or knock on the door?
It sounds like there is possibly more to the story but only you and the client know what actually happened.
Why someone would pay for an Uber to your place-Stand outside and not knock or call and then leave and send you $30.00 is certainly bizarre behavior.
Something made him leave and only he knows what that was.
You should be grateful it didn't work out-it sounds like it would not be a good fit.
@BrianOcean From the timestamps. That's how I know he was early. When he was messaging me on the site to let me know he was here, it was 3:40. I was sitting at my computer and I saw I had a ping here.

@BrianOcean I once had a cuddle session booked with someone here on business from out of town. He was staying in a hotel (company paid, I’m sure) but about 45 minutes away. It was really bad weather all day, storming raining, etc. He had booked for 2 hours. We had been messaging during the day, Then about 2 hours before I was set to leave, He said- I don’t want you driving in this weather. He sent me $200 & canceled it himself out of concern for my safety. In the 2 yrs of being a Pro, I never asked for a deposit and I definitely did not ask for any payment from him. I was bummed out about not getting to meet him though. I told him he did not have to do that, it was pretty much the nicest thing anyone client has ever done. He insisted & I told him he was Prepaid for the next session whenever he wanted it to be. It took three or four months but eventually he came back and we had a great (prepaid) session. There are actually some honest, kind people here believe it or not. not everyone is paranoid nor a scammer Not all men assume that they will be scammed I loved meeting people like that, He trusted me, I trusted him.

I am curiously wondering why you told it to me however- I have no doubt about the kindness and integrity of many people on here.
I am really not a fan of anyone bringing their dispute or conflict to a forum to trash the reputation of the other party.
I actually think the Potential Client in this case was certainly not as bad as he was being portrayed.
From what I read- He paid for an Uber-He got there early- Wisely Communicated that he was there Through the Site -Which is better for the Pro-we are often told. Did not get a response from the Pro in what he thought was a timely manner. The Pro says he should not have come early and he never called or knocked on the door.
Then the story gets truly wild and the whole thing apparently goes South.
He claims he felt unsafe and left and now the whole tale came to us in the forum.
For some reason all the details have been removed and I am definitely paying WAY more attention to this then I should be.
We then find out he paid the Pro $30.00 for her time.
My guess is -He was not a bad guy and their was not good communication and whatever fears he has lurking deep down-took over and he left.
How's that for some analysis?

I still don't know why you told it to me as if I would suggest there are only scammers on here-

I am glad you shared your story and I thought it nicely spoke volumes of the kindness and thoughtfulness of your client.

Thank you sharing that @g_w_t_w! It was beautiful & heartwarming. I’ve heard about so many unpleasant and horrible experiences from pros having to deal with terrible people with bad intentions. So good that you have interactions with genuinely great souls. You are also pretty amazing yourself to allow him to have a “prepaid” session at a later time. It speaks to your character and gives me hope.
