Laundromats are depressing. Dirty and filled with unhappy people dealing with a crappy chore who don't have a washer and dryer at home. Like a last stop before purgatory. If someone wanted to cuddle with me there I would be like, eww. Just being honest.

My response was to indicate that I wasn't coming from an insensitive snobby place but from a place of experience and knowledge of how lame a laundromat can be. I don't know why you're so pushy about this and you need to call me insensitive and snobbish. Your true colors are showing, friend. And I'm not the only person, far from it... that had the same take on laundromats. I thought the last stop before purgatory line was pretty clever. I don't see it as appropriate or inappropriate, just different :-) I haven't had to frequent laundromats, how and ever my movie screen fantasy of a cuddle in a laundromat seems pretty cool! The hum of machines in the background, smell of sweet fabric softener, a bench ready for us to lean on each other and get to know each other's personality for the hour and a half it'll take that comforter to dry... Nice!! 💜
