LMAO now I got the song in my head 🤣🤣 @ScroogeMcducky
Kudos to the star pro's on here! I have to give a shout-out to @Sveta88 who is in a small market in the Midwest and isn't on here a ton, but still has over 100 karmas. Even the pro's in the Chicago or Detroit area rarely achieve that. She's a kind soul and a great pro.
I will also vouch and say @happybear is such a wonderful soul, if y'all ever in his neck of the woods, and get the chance, you wouldn't be disappointed lol. He was my first cuddle in NY as well hahaha years ago now......
@CaringSoul @MissAdventurous Thank you for your mention, I've conversed with both of you for 6 years and have been fortunate and blessed to have cuddled with you 6 years ago and 4-1/2 years ago respectively, that's a long time even in this cuddleverse. I don't care about numbers, but relish the exchange, because each connection with another yields a special world of learning a bit about, and spending time with a beautiful soul, sharing conversation, touch, and time. I feel blessed and appreciate every cuddle, every person that's part of this tribe, this community . In a world that's pretty tightly raveled,, this community has its arms open wide, some karma, make me smile, laugh, cry, and relish in the friendships created, so very glad to be part of it.
Awh @happybear just reading this. Way to make my morning. I have a big hug waiting for you next time we get together. 💗💗
Miss Adventurous hands down. I was here almost 4 years ago and I am not surprised she is still here. I rejoined 9-25-24. Things have changed but Miss Adventurous loves it here.
Who cares . And I say this with all due respect to those who have a lot of karma cus some are my dear friends who I love and adore and deserve every kind word that is said about them (nods to @MissAdventurous et al). I have a lot of karma as well but that just means ive been on here a long time and have met a lot of people. Definitely takes effort to foster and maintain those connections, but it's not something that really needs special accolades. Some folks are karma collectors who get all excited about adding another notch to their belts which is kinda weird to me. Like they win a blue ribbon at the county fair or something for it. My thoughts about karma is it's a useful thing to let others know that you have actually met folks from here who can attest that you're not an axe murderer, but beyond that it's not a popularity contest or a defining part of you as a human. There are plenty of other things to stress over and cuddling shouldn't be one of them, and the feeling of needing to impress with karma counts is something we can do without.
@pmvines Speaking of Karma Collectors, a 20-something yr old woman in DFW had visited my profile a couple of times so I checked out hers. She joined in May of this year, so less than 6 months ago and already has over 30 karma, maybe 40+ can’t remember. Her photos (slightly filtered maybe) showed her to be extremely attractive - but at least clothed! I thought wow, very popular with the guys!!! lol.
@g_w_t_w Like many things in life, sometimes quality over quantity is a good thing
@pmvines I have very high quality karma from very high quality people, you are right.
Currently @MissAdventurous with 383 karmas! @MyaTraveling with 305 karmas, @CaringSoul with 161 karmas, @MightyEmbrace with 144 karmas, @SuperManCuddles with 114 karmas, @happybear with 113 karmas and @Sveta88 with 112 karmas! I have interacted and or meet with all. All positive energy people too and karmas well deserved!😁 🏆 🎉
I visited the profile of my favorite cuddle and seen the amount of karma, and got instant jealous. Good thing we didn't go through and read all the karma. I'm joking but very serious at the same time. My thoughts that this many people got to cuddle and i haven't had enough, some of that could have been for me.
@SuperManCuddles 😭😭😭😭😭
@Sheena123 You are impressive to with 167 karmas!!!🤩😁🎉
@pmvines who cares?
Faith no more
Don’t act like you don’t know this song
@SuperManCuddles
I know a couple of people with more Karma than you have who aren’t on your list. But I am not going to name them. Also, I feel it would be better if Karma were tracked in round numbers only. “100+” would be fine as a max score, imo.
As a moderator, I've seen too many cases where an abundance of karma has lowered someone's defenses. I tend to look at karma numbers with a healthy level of skepticism.
Numbers are strongly tied to how many times a person has cuddled and to whether or not they're asking others for karma. Those factors are not always tied to a person's character or quality as a cuddler.
Specific statements in karma can be useful as part of a filtering process, but will never be a substitute for that process.
@JoyfulHeart Yes. It’s a tool that should be one of many tools one uses to evaluate a possible cuddler.
I know a couple pros who have quite a bit of karma but after getting to know them, I realized they’re cuckoo for cocoa puffs and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
@Morpheus you can recommend them to me I like cocoa puffs
I honestly don't trust Karma. It is misleading. Its easy to fake so I will glance at it but I base opinions off of messages and actual interactions.
@KatCuddles77
I agree, I think a lot of pros have fake karma to make themselves appear more appealing.
I know many friends in this community with many karmas! If I forget or miss you please forgive me! I wanted to also acknowledge an awesome person, traveler 🧳 and cuddler @TheGypsyCuddler with 140 karmas!
I'll restate here: karma can be like gold stickers on a student's homework. There are people I've met who have earned those gold stickers by being genuinely good people, and there are people that have "earned" them by asking for karma from every person they talk to. I've seen people create fake accounts to give themselves karma, I've seen people tell others what to write, and I've seen people I know and respect give positive karma to people who didn't deserve it because they were legitimately afraid of what might happen if they didn't.
I'm being insistent here because I don't ever want people to bypass their security routine when a potential cuddler (enthusiast or client) points out how much karma they have.
I believe there's some value in karma that gives thoughtful and specific insight into a person's character. For anyone writing karma, shoot for that. If anyone asks you to write fake karma, asks to trade karma, suggests what to write in karma for them, please report them, as they are engaging in deceptive behavior.
A few folks have said it but yeah, Karma is at best a clue. Not conclusive evidence of character.
Always use your own judgment. It’s really all you’ve got.
That being said, the karma I’ve received made me feel better about myself, so I’ll happily take it. At least until one hurts my feelings! 😀
@latinavip is a friend of mine and she was somewhere around 150-ish. Haven't seen her around lately, though. ☹️
Sometimes a lot of karma just means that someone doesn't work long hours or they meet a lot of people that may not be honest. Just think about how much dishonest stuff you can read in most any forum on the net. What I like about this thread is it did engage a lot of people and made a worthwhile Convo to read for me.
Sometimes I find a thread subject odd or even pointless but the resulting Convo makes it so worth it. I like when people open up or at least seem like they are.
I'm nowhere near even competing, sitting at 0 karma.
@JoyfulHeart Thanks for pointing that out . Karma collectors are a bit puzzling to me. Seems to defeat the purpose of authentic kindness but on genuine connections. It's like a game where you are competing with yourself.
I have read clients and pros karma here say they've seen someone multiple times for sessions, but the client karma doesn't reflect "repeat client". How many times does that take? Two, three, four appointments?
