I noticed multiple responses on another thread from people who have karma from pros, but still consider themselves "enthusiasts." I thought with enthusiasts, there wasn't any exchange of money?
Omgosh. I LOVE your story about the Home Depot walkthrough with the “public cuddle” and them trying on the Grinch suit.
Best public cuddle story ever! 💚💚💚
I am enthusiast. And I cuddle other enthusiasts.
But I have paid a pro for a cuddle session and so would at that point be a “client.”
The l thing that matters most I suppose is that enthusiasts can’t charge to cuddle and be on this site.
Although there are plenty of pros that changed their minds and decides to not charge anymore and became enthusiasts.
Add to that….. imagine TWO pros who cuddle each other and don’t charge each other. At that point…… they are probably pros doing a FREE session but I bet they are also ENTHUSIASTIC!! 😂
The way I look at it, I’m an enthusiast because I don’t charge to cuddle. But, I don’t mind being called a “client” when I cuddle with pro’s.
There are only 2 categories if I’m not mistaken.
Professional who are the only ones who can charge.
Enthusiasts can pay or find another enthusiast that they don’t have to pay.
There is a third category: Banned - But ...
Client>john
There are three account types that have special badges on their profiles: Admin, Moderator, and Professional. Anyone without one of those badges on their profile is an enthusiast. Only accounts with the "Professional" badge can charge money using the booking panel on the site. When a session is booked, the Professional that is receiving money is the "cuddler" and the person paying (whether it be an Admin, Mod, another Professional, or Enthusiast) is considered the "client" for that session.
@lonelytauros
Ha, they fall under the "Banned" category
Ok, got it. Anyone who doesn't get paid is considered an enthusiast by the site, even if they're actually a paying client. @sillysassy , thank you. He not only consented to the photo, but was thrilled when I said I was using it as my profile pic. It was a really fun experience!
@CharlieBear I’m just glad my name isn’t John haha lol 😆
@lonelytauros My name is dangerously close to John ... 😜
@GuyverGordon lol
I'd consider myself a person that enjoys to cuddle that may have to pay to cuddle. I don't like the term client in reference to my self and I'm not enthusiastic about spending money on something i hope to get for free. But that's just me
@ReltvlyCanshes do you prefer being called a customer vs a client?
In regards to cuddling I'd not like either, any reminder of a financial transaction bothers me. If i had to choose client seems lesser evil, I'd rather you call me "time to cuddle"🤗
@ReltvlyCanshes : "Call me whatever you want, just don't call me late to cuddle," popped into my mind reading the last few posts. My dad used to say that a lot with "dinner" instead of "cuddle."
Makes sense too because I grew up hearing from my mom, grandmom, various aunts, etc., "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." 🥘🥓🦐🥐😋
@ReltvlyCanshes Ha you can refer to yourself how you wish. It's just the term the site uses for people that are paying a pro to cuddle via the site.

Whoa whoa, clients are not johns. Cuddling is a profession for some of us, not caping for SW and we are trying our best to separate the two professions. Touch is therapeutic and needed, get someone who is trained and possibly even certified to hold space for you. Nothing wrong with SW, I just wish it was not conflated with touch therapy here.
@CharlieBear i do understand it i just don't like it
I respond to any of the following: client enthusiast What's your face? Tom Thom Tim Hey That blobfish guy Hey you Hey a$$hole You up? Cuddle now?
Or anything you want to call me is okay, too. I'm just here for the cuddles.
@TxTom That was a blobfish?... I just knew it was a cuddlefish (at least that is what i thought you were going for... 😅)
Whoa whoa, clients are not johns. Cuddling is a profession for some of us, not caping for SW and we are trying our best to separate the two professions.
I think I am missing some context here.
Just to clarify what i was saying before, my name is Jonathan, which is close to (and sometimes mistaken for John ... if I shorten it, I always remove the 'h').
@lonelytauros nice try but wrong direction 😜 ... that would have been really funny if I really was Juan.
@Mare_Bear
Whoa whoa, clients are not johns.
I will unapologetically state there are MANY clients-johns here. I get SW banned here all the time. You can't have one without the other. Just last week, I got a guy with at least 10 5-star karmas banned who bragged in DM here on the site about his "heated sessions" with pros (who he also called "good girls.") I'm sure he considered himself an enthusiast since he wouldn't be paying for my company. He couldn't always afford to be a client/customer. He also didn't consider himself to be a john. (I had no intentions of meeting him and argued with him once he revealed his true intentions in his 3rd message, right after his name and chat invite and even after I said, "No, I'm not interested in cuddling with you." It was epic when he dared me to report him.)
Just because they call clients of sex workers John's it doesn't change the fact they are clients. The only thing that might make a John different than any other client: customer is the product.... maybe. I know we want distance from sw but the only way to do that is to not have sw, not use different words.
Since you mentioned your reporting @starrynitecuds , I’d like to send appreciation your way for the diligent reporting of those accounts and making it a bit safer for everyone.
@CharlieBear thank you, but not really sure I will keep it up when I see so many I've already reported and nothing is done (Amazon wish lists, lingerie photos, blatant fetish offerings, etc.) after weeks, if not a month.
Wish lists? That's something i haven't seen here yet. That's kind of wild
I was told they're not allowed at all because gifts requests like that are prevalent on sites considered for SW. And considering they're usually full of nonplatonic gift items, I can see the correlation. Maybe the site owner changed his mind and doesn't care now?
Yeah, i get the e feeling that is something that is attached to something nefarious. But oh well. I'm not sure what benefit it give to buy gifts but to each ya know
@starrynitecuds I hadn’t seen those reports so I’ll have to check, but those things would not be allowed. No sugar daddy arrangements.
Edit: Hmm I am not sure what reports you are referring to. I just see a loooong list of warnings and bans.
@ReltvlyCanshes Maybe because gifts are a lot harder to track. And unlike cash, can be done remotely.
