What could go wrong during sessions?

Hi people, I'm Kim.

I'm new to the hugging world. I do have a full time job and my life is busy enough, but I really want to see what kind of benefit and opportunities I could have with cuddle comfort.

I would love to hear your story in cuddle comfort sessions.

I haven’t had many that were just cuddle partners, and I have been lucky that most were positive experiences. I don’t think I have experienced anything negative other than and I was able to put an end to it before it happened was I guess she wanted to much of my time and attention. I couldn’t just drop everything I was doing at any given time when she would call or text wanting me to come cuddle. She had multiple cuddle partners and a lot of them were more than just cuddle partners. She got angry at me because she was supposed to spend the weekend with someone and she wanted me to come finish the weekend with her and cuddle all weekend. When I told her I couldn’t do the whole weekend I was made out to be the worst person on earth. Other than that everyone else was great. We were on the same page as one another and our time together was awesome. Some we’re just a one time cuddle because maybe something just didn’t click for one or both of us, but others that I may have cuddled with multiple times were awesome. I loved having a connection and being on the same terms and conditions with one another, having that close friendship, so when we did see one another, we were happy to be together to cuddle.

I had bad experience when I told the guy not to smoke around me and he still did while cuddling ,one hand he had was smoking the other arm he had me cuddling .I block him 😂 he was not for me maybe some girls like him cause he did have lots of review .
It's mix people here not everyone going vibe with you

People smoking in bed after sex was portrayed alot in older movies, and while it had that cool cinematic pillow talk vibe to it from the viewer’s POV, actually smoking during a cuddle IRL?…. Nastayyy!

And to answer the OPs question- while the VERY HIGH majority of my cuddles have been beautiful experiences, a few of my less stellar cuddlees:

-had garlic breath
-unshaven legs
-massaged me like she was rubbing ink off my skin
-had too much wine, and then after me gingerly trying to end the session several times got ornery, and wouldn’t leave
-(had an issue which I will not post publicly)
-peeled off her mask and it was actually Willem Dafoe

(OK maybe the last one was thrown in for theatrical purposes but the others stand true)…

I have had some wonderful and blissful sessions. Only one bad one, where it felt like I was interacting with a catatonic person.

Now I’ve been to multiple group settings. I’ve held some one who had an emotional break through of sorts, they broke down and started crying. It was very cathartic of them.

Saw one person have an emotional moment and cried tears of joy.

I have also heard many stories of boundary pushing.

It varies.

I’ve had some awkward ones exchanging messages here on the site but that’s minor.

Had one do multiple messages with and agreed on a time. Then she was a no show, and I was the one that traveled to her.

My first cuddle session I was in very bad shape physically after a demanding family emergency and a nasty case of covid that messed me up badly. I couldn’t lay on my right side or flat on back, and my ribs were very tender to touch. Those limitations can make cuddling tough. I told her what I was dealing with. She was great and understanding. Just some awkward brief moments of moving, but being that weak and inflamed wouldn’t take much to cause a lot of pain or problems.

Not necessarily something that goes wrong. For me if there just isn't a good vibe it's hard to relax and feel present and in the moment. Doesn't happen frequently as I usually get to know someone pretty well before crossing paths, but when it does it can be awkward.

So many things could go wrong:

1. Horrendous bad breath that breaks your will to live.

2. Sharting

3. Open sores that ooze unmentionable substances into the sheets.

4. Someone starts a political conversation

5. They start telling you how healing their hugs are and you are thinking how healing it will be when the session is over and you are home.

6. You get food poisoning from the snacks they offered.

7. They puke while cuddling face-to-face.

8. You fall asleep and they steal your identity.

9. You find their membership card out with their position title of Grand Wizard lying on top of a white sheet.

10. You fall asleep and they wake you and inform you it’s no longer Monday but Wednesday.

11. You wake up and they wave a wedding ring in your face and say “Don’t you remember?”

12. You are the little spoon and they nuzzle into your neck and whisper “Do you believe in vampires?”

These are hypothetical but stuff I have thought of while cuddling because weird sh$t creeps into my mind while cuddling.

Be advised much worse can go wrong and you need to be aware there are users with predatory behaviors. [SA] If I ever choose to cuddle with a new user, I will not be alone. But at this point it is out of the question after my last session.

My worst experience was when the person I was with went into diabetic shock, almost died and I had to call 911.

My cuddlers Dog jumps on the bed and starts dry humping the pillow lol

My appointment tonight had three positive reviews so I thought everything would be fine. The minute we started cuddling I should have gone with my gut and left. He was trying to put his hands down my pants and the other hand on my breast. I clearly let him know that I don’t know what your previous cuddlers have done for you, but this is outside of my boundaries. Makes you wonder why people would give positive reviews that we’re really just lies.

@hugsRneeded4u not trying to sound judgmental or critical but this phrase here:

I am an open and welcoming individual, it is a judge free zone when we have our cuddle time

Can be misinterpreted by some men…just a thought.

@lonelytauros is correct imo.
A lot of men will take that as an invitation for sex or for whatever they want to do. Choose your words very carefully!
And ask lots of questions about expectations during screening, also, get them to admit what they want - in writing on the site in messages - and then report.

It’s not just outside your boundaries but also the TOS Terms of Service agreement ------AND UNLAWFUL-----.

...and in some cases that "misinterpretation" is not really a misinterpretation....

If it happens in a cuddle session, it's "boundary pushing." If it happens anywhere else, it's sexual assault.

@WriterGF Great point. Sexual assault shouldn't be minimized as "boundary pushing." "Boundary pushing" softens the impact and seriousness of an actual criminal act or behavior. Sexual assault shouldn't be trivialized.

@starrynitecuds I 100% agree with you. How many of these people do you think want the police showing up at their door or their workplace? This is why I am such a proponent of pros seeing ID.

I think what they are saying is that sexual assault should not be minimized as simple boundary pushing , as is often the case because even the one being assaulted often does not recognize it as such or they reduce it as something else, or blame themselves for it. Most people realize boundary pushing doesnt equal sexual assault. However it is very important to recognize when it is, and what to do about it.

@HoosCuddling Correct. But putting your hand on a woman's breast and your other down her pants, as the pro described, very much is sexual assault.
