Facial Stubble ok?

I am lazy and don't like to shave everyday. Should I ask my cuddler beforehand if facial stubble is ok? I know some like and some don't.

Comments

  • Just schedule shaving around your cuddle appointment.

Just grow a beard so they feel like they are petting a dog

Reported/flagged multiple times as "political." Leaving intact. Combatting racism is a collective responsibility. Flagging anti-racism posts as political will be ignored and most definitely annoy the mods. [-Sid, the unapologetically woke Moderator]

Cuddling is an intimate activity and you should be at your physical best for it. Squeaky clean, freshly laundered clothes, no perfume or aftershave.

For cuddling, whatever you like to have around your chin - clean, stubble, beard - should also be in tip-top condition, whatever that means for you. Your cuddle partner should accept you for you who are.

Stubble or beard may inhibit certain positions, just because it's uncomfortable for the other person. It doesn't matter, just do something else. Conversely, your cuddle partner may have extra liking for certain positions in the presence of stubble.

In the case of laziness, don't be so bloody rude. Get off your arse and shave. Or yes, ask in advance if they have views and then follow them.

Not sure why this is even a question.
Don’t bother asking, just do it.
    But don’t stop there.

Not only do I shave in the shower just before her arrival, but to take this a few steps further I also wear one of my oldest and softest (good condition of course) t-shirts and take out fresh from the dryer my best, super duper “swoftest” cotton modal bamboo sheets that also feel exactly like an old t-shirt too. Every cuddler that gets in my bed says OMG you have the most comfortable bed ever (and one of my karmas even mentioned it too)……. (Although my gardener somehow heard word around the neighborhood about this and now that dude’s been relentlessly trying to get a session! Awkward….)

Bottom line- I share this to simply say: the closer and cozier you want your cuddler to be next to YOU, the smoother and nicer your presentation should be for HER.

And since we are here, ladies, if it’s not too much trouble can you please shave your legs before the cuddle? I’ve had a couple rough experiences here…

So nice of you to be this considerate.
When you’re by yourself, anything goes, but when sharing a close space please understand that your face will sandpaper our skin off and could cause an infection if you have stubble. Speaking from experience.

  • Don't shave for someone else🧔🏾‍♂️

    Facial Stubble ok?

For Me, no I tend to get a face wax on a monthly basis, to battle against unsightly facial hair.😁

Or I use tweezers all over my face, plucking everything but my eyebrows. 😜😁

Not an easy task, but when it comes to cuddling (or any activity aside from working 😏) I want to look and feel my best! ❤️ 👍

  • Stubble is very scratchy and gives me a itchy red rash

Oh my goodness if I wanted to be political there are loads more shirts in my closet for that. That just happened to be what I was wearing when I posted the pic about facial hair. It could have just as easily been a golf shirt.

These kind of questions in a forum are useless. This question should be directed to the person you are going to cuddle. All other
    Thoughts or opinions don't matter.

  • lazy cuddlers are a turn off to trust and consent and safety

  • @WestsideMarc good point. I try to have freshly shaved legs for sure

  • I shave my feet then I get bored.

  • @TheFunCartel We have a hobbit.

  • I’ve been wondering this as well. but i tend to go max hygiene as much as possible when I have a cuddle scheduled, but I have been guilty of not shaving properly sometimes.

    @pmvines nice beard

  • @sunnysideup
Thanks , had it since I was 19. Def not a laziness thing , beards are actually a little more work than one might think

If your stubble is quite rough, and for whatever circumstance, you find it hard to shave regularly, I would recommend:

    1) You apply appropriate hair care to your stubble, or whatever your face hair situation is, just like you would for the hair on your scalp. Beard oil, shampoo, a good moisturizing face scrub, even a basic dude body wash soap (Dove has great options) will help your face hair to feel softer. As far as hair and face care goes, even a little goes a long way.

    2) Plan to only cuddle in ways that don’t involve your chin/stubble area directly touching your cuddle buddy for extended periods of time. This is actually pretty easy to do! There are several ways to cuddle that do not involve any stubble/facial hair interaction whatsoever. If you’re having trouble, just communicate with your cuddle partner, letting them know you have rough facial hair, and the two of you should be able to figure out something that works.

Hope these suggestions are helpful! And I wish you good luck 🍀

  • Thanks for all the great comments.

  • A stubbled chin/cheek touching or occasionally brushing against my forehead, shoulder or arm etc. is very common and to be expected, especially if your pics are current and accurate to your chosen level of facial hair. Most people don't tend to cuddle with their faces repeatedly scrubbing someone else's skin after all.
Buuuut if you're a heavy skin nuzzler who never washes their face? Definitely (wash your face regularly &) consider shaving, or at least ask about your cuddle partner's skin related needs beforehand. 🤷🏼

Been a very long time since a razor touched my face or neck, so my answer to stubble is
    Let It Grow.

Beards are fun, and mostly self correcting.

  • Stubble isn't an issue for me . Cleanliness is the most important part of a cuddle. I don't anticipate my cuddlers face against mine. To address the person who has problems with leg hair, If one's legs covered you'll never know. I'm not repulsed by body hair. It's natural. I accept you.

  • I cannot tolerate stubble, had some horrific experiences with a massive breakout on my skin, so no thanks! Lots of body hair; No offence to anyone, if I book a cuddle session it's with a human being ,not a grizzly bear! I personally arrive to cuddle sessions freshly Lasered and shaved 😌

Well to each their own. I've had lots of folks want to cuddle with me specifically because they like my body hair.

  • Meanwhile my face resembles an overstuffed bag of leaves 😂

I am one that I don’t shave for days or weeks at a time. I have even gone more than a year without shaving one time. There are times I’m just too lazy to do it. I also have severe neuropathy of my hands due to having MS so shaving isn’t easy at times as it’s difficult to hold the razor. I have had people that prefer me clean-shaven and I have had people that like me with facial hair. I have had women ask me to shave because they said I look younger clean-shaven. I have even had women shave my beard for me. Some women like playing with my beard. It does feel good when they run their fingers over my beard. if they want to put me into a trance, all they have to deal with run their fingers over my beard or play with my hair.🤣

  • This is a stubble rash from a cuddler. I was in so much pain . I guess if you have stubble, always confirm with the other person before you meet that it won't be an issue. 🤷😜
