I just recently discovered that ,my dog is apparently a racist

Just recently, after submitting a CC forum post, I learned that my dog, a beautiful coon hound named Harmony, is a “racist dog!”. I immediately told her but she did not seem too concerned and immediately returned to eating the dog bone I brought her. Conversely, I feel obligated to defend her honor and reputation! First off, what type of shallow, empty person would call a person’s dog a racist? Other than occasionally growling at people on occasion, (I don’t blame her), she is more interested in drinking out of mud puddles and peeing on bushes than socializing! If I understand the attack correctly, it was one that is part of “cancel culture.

It is a shame because I thought CC was an environment where “cancel culture” wasn’t accepted–a sanctuary area of sort. It’s pretty sad that the actions of a few are tolerated, especially given that CC forums are part of the overall business business model helping to indirectly/indirectly drive revenue to the site as a “free advertising” space allowing clients, enthusiasts and professionals to connect!

Fortunately, in almost every case, I’ve noted direct communication with Professionals and Enthusiasts, has been respectful and professional. Unfortunately,in the CC forums it is not the same. The site doesn’t charge a fee for the CC forum and we should be grateful that it’s free –with that in mind, all interactions should be respectful regardless of whether one agrees or disagrees with a posting. These conversations are a reflection of the business so —-anything unprofessional should be avoided, like calls for violence against one group or another should be avoided for example. I have noted literally hundreds of different forum posting topics, some aligned to CC –others not so much.

This is what brings a “rainbow of color” to the site and makes it the inviting environment it is intended to be! As long as a post is respectful and not hateful–it should be tolerated. Who is anyone to judge the posting of another, especially if it meets the basic criteria above. EVERYONE has the freedom to read a post or not! What type of character does a person have who sits on the site judging the quality of a posting “stpid” if it doesn’t meet their criteria! Who cares if someone repeats a topic that was just discussed or uses the same headline but the content is completely different if the time was taken to simply read the post? I am taking the time to make this posting because I can tolerate the attempts by the small few that hate my presence on the site (t’s always funny to submit a posting only to have it immediately attacked by a pack of screaming chihuahuas). Instead of driving up business as one of the reasons the CC forum was established—I’ve note people new to the site driven away after reviewing some of the conversation. CC SHOULD BE AN INVITING PLACE FOR ALL. I f a posting requires clarification, the author is much more likely to do so if the request is made respectfully, Labeling someone you don’t really know with derogatory comments only reflects badly on that individual—especially not recommended for PROs looking for new clients. Finally, using the term RACIST against someone they hate should not be tolerated — especially a DOG! I WOULD CONSIDER AN APOLOGY for Harmony if offered. Let’s make CC a truly wonderful environment for all!!
