Curious

which would you rather? You host? Or your pro cuddler host? And what stops you from hosting if you choose for your cuddler to?

Cuddler host. My roommates, while they haven't expressly stated this, aren't open to the concept of cuddling just for the sake of cuddling. They wouldn't "get it".
If I lived alone, I'd certainly be open to hosting

  • For my cuddler. I live alone. Yet my place is cluttered. Depression is b@&ch to deal with at times.

  • @Bear I feel that. 🫂
Some days it takes everything I have just to stand up. For me personally, that's always the hardest. Once I'm moving, it gets a little easier.

  • When I'm cuddling with someone who is from my area, I host unless it's a public cuddle. Hosting can be nice because I set the cozy vibe. When someone is visiting Pittsburgh, mostly I'm invited to cuddle at a hotel. Same when I'm on the road.

  • @Specialist_Log The hardest part for me is getting out of bed sometimes. Then getting out of the house for anything.

  • @Bear Well, I hope it gets better soon for you.
Personally, therapy helped. I know it's not for everyone but I'd encourage you to try, and to celebrate the little victories. :)

  • I prefer my client to host …. so that it’s all about them. (Safe space) Almost all my clients have been from out of town. Which makes it easier for the hotel space, no extra cost.

  • @ElleCuddleMi hmmmm... If I had to choose I guess I'd prefer hosting. Just because of where I live.out in country. But if I host then that means I am not travelling ,which is one of my favorite things to do. 😊 I am still waiting for your visit to my neck of the woods 😆

@Auroradream lets see , you and I have met in hotels of course, but I did get the opportunity to host you at my home. You are a super guest!!🤗😊

  • I'm an enthusiast who cuddles other enthusiasts... I almost exclusively cuddle while traveling to other states, but even if I were cuddling in Wyoming, I have no desire to host at my house. My rescue dog is territorial and scared of new people...and frankly, he takes after me. 😂

That is, I'm quite careful with my personal info, and very paranoid with my personal belongings, so having people in my safe space is an anxiety-inducing event. I'm also a perfectionist, so I go into crazy-making cleaning mode before people come over, which is lovely for them but horribly stressful for me. 🧹🧽 🫧

I only go to a cuddle friend's place if I know and trust them very well. The majority of my cuddles take place in Public settings like parks, movie theaters, etc. You could say I "host" these, as I nearly always do the location scouting, bring all the blankets and pillows, etc. 😄

We also do lots of fun things like visit aquariums, take dogs for walks, try new restaurants, and go for mountain drives...we've even gone snowshoeing! 🐙🐕🫕🏞❄️

Public cuddles and excursions are my cup of tea because they are safe, incredibly fun, and I control the cleanliness...I always bring freshly-washed blankets and pillowcases, etc.

When someone is hosting at their home, you never know what their idea of "clean" is. I've had to help change used, crumb-strewn sheets because cuddlers weren't ready at the scheduled time. Makes you wonder...

As for Pro's, I've only ever booked one, and she hosted in her SUV with tons of plush blankets, soothing music, and a gorgeous view out the hatch. 🚙 🎶 🌄 Would absolutely do it again!

But making Public arrangements with enthusiasts has been, by far, my favorite scenario. 🌳 🐞🪻🐿 😊

  • I prefer either semi-public (State parks or on a pontoon boat in a quiet cove) or for me to host in a hotel. I have only hosted in my home with one cuddle partner who I had gotten to know very well over the course of multiple state parks cuddles.

I prefer to host as I feel more comfortable knowing all my bed linens are nice and fresh and clean. Every time I host all my bed linen’s are washed about 1 hour before the cuddle. I turn the AC down to 60 degrees as I love to cuddle under the sheets and wrapped up tight like a pretzel. I once had a cuddle in a motel and I brought my own linens. I have had a few cuddles as a guest and I could tell the linens were not fresh, to me it would be like stopping at a motel and they did not change the bed linens. Also I’m NOT a dog person so I sure don’t want to get in a bed full of dog hairs as I’m allergic to dogs.

I travel a lot so it depends. If I am at home I prefer the other person host as I have one adult child who lives full time with me and another who lives there when college is not going on. When I am on the road I prefer they come to me as I am not fond of going to someone’s turf that I not familiar with. I once went to a very risky area of Philadelphia that I will never ever do again.

When one cuddler did come to my home a couple of years ago she scrutinized all the pics hanging up while asking who each person was in the pictures and she ultimately asked what kind of money I made. This was an enthusiast who made it clear she was husband shopping so that shared point in time was short lived and I will never do that again.

  • I didn’t think I’d like hosting but I hosted for my first one and kinda enjoyed it? Now, I may have gone comically overboard with the rearranging for purpose but it got me to resume my spring cleaning from before work sent me away.

I’ll need to let someone else host and see how I feel but atm, I feel pretty decent about hosting.

  • When at home, I prefer is the pro hosts as I live with roomates -

when travleling I don’t mind hosting since I have a hotel anyway!

I'd prefer the pro to host or public if I were to book for the first time.

  • Pro hosting.. is better

  • I don't mind either way 😁

My cuddle space is private, quiet & calm and comfy and always has clean sheets, soft blanket, and good cuddling temperature 🌡️

But if a cuddler feels more comfortable to host in their space, I'm fine with that as well 🤗 I see a decent amount of travelers too, so it's easier for me to travel to them where they're at 🏠 🚗

    Another positive for hosting apparently.

Had a cat on my lap, it’s the afternoon and I’m a bit tired but the sun is shining. Grab a pillow from my couch and lay it across my face for a bit of darkness.

It smelled like a cuddle🥺. Why are olfactory memories so strong!?

  • It don’t matter to me. I can’t use my house and I don’t drive so if they host, Uber hits me - if I host, hotels hit me… lose/lose lol
