As a teenage trumpet player in the 1970s, I revered his mellow work on the flugelhorn. I never owned one, but I loved playing that hit whenever I could get my hands on one! RIP Chuck!

I remember when “Feels So Good” came out. It was all over the place. Suddenly there were tons of easy listening artists trying to capitalize, but none had the sound or look of Mangione. I had the 45 of it.
Fun Fact: if you spun the 45 backwards on “Feels So Good” you could hear “Hurts So Bad.”

If not for "Feels So Good," then tracks like "Hill Where The Lord Hides," "Give It All You Got," and "Children Of Sanchez" would be my favorites.
