If you’re hosting, what do you do to provide an optimal environment? Clean and comfortable, yes. But drinks, snacks, scented candle, playlist…etc?
As a guest, first and foremost it is about the person I am meeting, the connection, and the service. That said, the surrounding environment really makes a difference and can enhance the experience. A clean, neat welcoming space is important. A simple water is good but for a longer appointment a few beverage options or snacks are great. These can become part of the experience too. (As in snack break). Giving a choice of a couple Playlists is a great idea too. You can reference them to the client by genre or by an artist or two that are included. Have brief, honest conversations either during the booking process or after th3 cuddle...what did you love? What would you like added next time? Is there anything you could have done without? And if you are a guy hosting a cuddler, the more you treat her as a welcomed guest rather than a service provider, the better the experience will be for you too. A clean space with clean sheets, a drink option and anything you can do to make her feel safe and relaxed helps
I keep pet hair to a minimum, no strong scents including on person, things to hug and cuddle like stuffies, I always provide water and have tissues on hand in case someone gets teary
When I was a pro, I used to host here.
I randomly came across someone who hosts in a geodesic dome and they are so far off anywhere I would expect to travel to that I’m more than a little upset about it.
Bonus points to the hosts with constellation projectors and the like.

I prefer my room most of all. Blackout curtains, comfy bed, lots of pillows. I have LED lightbulbs in my bedside lamps and let my guest pick the color they find most comforting. There’s a 70” TV on the opposite wall, so if he wants to watch a movie we can. In the winter, sometimes I put the fireplace screensaver up…this time of year that would feel more like Dante’s Inferno. I have a ceiling fan and a rotating tower fan for temperature and white noise. It’s not fancy, but it’s home.
Clean house, softest sheets in North America, candles, amazing playlist, snacks, and a few other nice amenities along the way that that are top secret classified.
I’ve got a constellation projector. Always fresh sheets and I find out if the cuddler has a particular beverage they like. If they like candles or not. I’ve had Christmas lights around the ceiling in one place I saw had a net on the ceiling with Cotton with white lights that made it look like star shining through clouds.

Clean, crisp cotton sheets, a comfy comforter or a soft blanket, my cuddle playlist, & preferably a cold room with a ceiling fan going.
If my partner is not allergic I usually like to have something scented. I spray the comforter with a black chamomile essential oil or I have a candle (not lit) nearby. I also like to spray my hair with a detangler that smells good. It also helps me to deal with my bird's nest (messy hair) after the cuddle. 😉
I don't usually have it dark. I let the sunlight in with the shutters slanted down so that it's not too bright. Or with the shade lifted a few inches to let some light in.
