Not that I really know because b truthfully I haven't made much effort......but....a cuddler a few passages ago made a comment to the effect ...that she normally bases her enthisiasts selections based on attraction.....but the attraction could be many things.....one big turn off for her was men that whine about the ratio and don't really do that much to standout........I happen to admire her view point.....fairly sure whining is never a virtue
Others whining and complaining will sometimes trigger something in me, as if I somehow have to fix them, or make it better. In my case, that might be due to being a mom and too empathetic. But when it’s constant and by online strangers who seem to think it’s someone else’s responsibility to give them what they want, it often makes me wonder what they are doing to improve their own life. Cuddles are nice but they don’t fix everything.

Ya know, I remember reading somewhere about women who were SO TRAUMATIZED from being sexually assaulted multiple times.😬 That they PURPOSELY put on excess amount of weight because they believed that "fat would make them unattractive" towards the serial rapists of the world. 😕

Yep, I have known several homeless women who made themselves look masculine and conventionally unattractive for survival. Less of a target. Unfortunately most predators care less about your appearance and more about whether or not they can take advantage of you. More about power and feeding a need than anything. Yet another blissfully ignorant privileged viewpoint, to think that attractiveness is the key to ease of life.

Attraction comes in many forms and as you get older it changes. A really good conversationalist is what attracts me to anyone, and a conversationalist with a personality and energy is the jack pot. I’m not a teenager running purely on hormones anymore after I grew up ten years ago.
