Client refusing to pay

Earlier today I had a client who wanted to book a virtual session with me, $40 for 30 minutes. He chose to do a video call which I charge an extra $15. Im not sure if this older gentleman is confused or simply had bad intentions but he only paid me $15 on Venmo.

After the session I told him the remaining total will be $40 which is what's booked on the site. He states "you did receive $15 from me via Venmo and should receive $40 from me via the site... So the issue you have is the $40 you said you didn't receive from the site... So again, please contact the site about the $40, agree?"

After going back and forth with him, and explained to him, many times that the site will NOT pay me the remaining $40. The client has to pay upfront with the professional cuddlers preferred payment option to which I sent him the screenshot of the site saying so. He did not respond for a while after I sent him the screenshots. After a few hours finally sent me the remaining amount due. Who's in the wrong here? This gentleman is the only person I've had this issue with.

In a future situation where a client refuses to pay the remaining amount what should be done?

  • It could be avoided by collecting payment at the time of the appt and not starting until it's all paid. Sounds like he was trying to pull a fast one. He did pay so it's not a matter of him not paying you, but it does definitely seem pretty sketchy and may want to mention it in karma and/or report

  • I’m confused. I consider a virtual session to be a video call so why is there an added $15?
Is it $40 for half hour, or $55? Sorry, I’m missing something.

But anywho, I never even start the video chat until the whole amount is paid.

  • Welp looks like there is more to the story I suppose

  • Yea their story did not make sense to me.

  • I checked her profile before she was banned. The 1 karma she (age 20) had was from another Pro (age19) who lived on the other side of the US. So they gave each other a karma to start their new cuddling career. Did they ever meet?

  • @g_w_t_w
Could have been a virtual or someone traveling if it was legit or bogus if not.

  • @LadyVel
    Right lol
She was banned and there’s always more to the story.

  • Yep, and because of that, we'll probably never know.

Reason I mentioned traveling is that I am from KY but I have been lucky enough to have had in person cuddles with someone from Cali due to them traveling to my area.

I’m new. I deadass on want to cuddle. How do I make this work? I think some of these guys want much more than cuddling. Should I change my pic?

  • I think that’s a great picture and beautiful smile. You could crop it a little so that it appears larger but not necessary.
Just spend time chatting and ask lots of questions, also make your intentions to keep it platonic very clear.
Some people require a public meeting first and ask for an id to share with a friend for safety before meeting privately.
There are many forum threads about safety measures while cuddling.

  • @cuddleebff Are you wanting to be an enthusiast or professional? I ask because you mention "cuddling is my job" on your profile.

If you are wanting to be a professional, you have to submit an application.
