Pro cuddle question

As a client the service is only time spent end. Life is life but I e pro used words a sense of companionship. It's a business.

How should clients like me see it? If your loner that won't help if your cuddle deprived ie no relationship etc it will help for session only. You want more you have to pay another session. Facts of life way it is.

In a good relationship all things normal cuddling might be every day I guess? But your a loner you pay that's just way it is life.

How should I see these pro sessions

It's not true that the benefit of a cuddle session lasts for the length of the session only. The explicit benefit from a good session can last a couple of days. And 'battery recharge' effect can last for weeks.

Humans need touch. Even loners. Cuddling 'normalises' your body chemistry, for want of a better phrase. I saw it as a part of a process, a tool to help take my life from where it was to where I'd like it to be. It's potentially a very powerful tool for somebody, and a question like this is a good place to be starting from. "How can I use cuddling to make my life better?"

Just because there isn’t a romantic relationship doesn’t mean the pro doesn’t care about you as a person.

Also, it’s like a psychologist or a massage therapist — sure, they’re there only for the time of your appointment, but the benefits can be felt beyond the session.

@ted56 You are paying a woman for companionship. She may be accommodating, friendly and a good person BUT there is no relationship outside of money for her time and attention. She is not your girlfriend. I never see only one to help not becoming too attached.

Remember that we are using money as a shortcut for female attention. That's just the reality of the situation.

If they want me to plan a trip and cuddle with them, we will need to make a session and some payment will need to be exchanged. Hope this gives another perspective !

That’s right: Cuddlers need to eat food too and have a roof over their head. That’s just life.

(Try asking the universe to change the laws of supply and demand….I wager it gives a grand void as an answer.)

I agree with @bluefish281 ! It's paying to fulfill a need. I see it the same as any service we pay for, I can't provide my own mental health therapy, so I pay for it. Real human connection may occur with my therapist, but we maintain a professional boundary.

Like @VitaminJ said, the connection doesn't necessarily stop when the session is over. You carry something away with it, as do we as pros.

So If that's the way you choose to view cuddle therapy (or massage therapy ...talk therapy... medical treatment....etc) then you'll get exactly what you expect out of it 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

You’re right that it’s a paid service and the session ends when the time ends. But how you see the session matters.

If you treat it as a substitute for a relationship, it will always feel temporary and transactional. If you treat it as a tool, it can have longer-term value.

The long-term benefit depends on you. Do you want a relationship? Do you want to improve your confidence, communication, comfort with touch, or self-presentation? Those are things you can actively work on during sessions.

Think of it like a living library: you’re paying for time, yes but also for perspective, practice, and feedback. If you use the sessions intentionally, they can help you improve your life outside the sessions. That’s where the real value is, and that’s what can eventually reduce the need to pay for companionship.

Hi, pro cuddler of eight years here - paying for a cuddle session is to be seen and heard by someone who has (hopefully) trained and certified to hold space for you. It is to have a session tailored just for you the way you want to be held or not - some people are touch averse and need a very slow process to come around to be able to feel loving touch. In my training we would go at your pace and your comfort is top priority. Sounds nice, right!? When I am touch starved I will book a session with someone who abides by these principles and can give me an hour of touch that is just what I'm looking for, I like to have my hair played with and I like to lay down and have quiet time and soft music. What do you like in a cuddle session?

Cuddling is also enjoying company. One benefit that I didn't see coming is it has also helped me to detach.

At first I would get "high" off the oxytocin and then crash after the cuddler left. That was when I was touch-starved. Now, I've become secure and am able to have people come and go without feeling the dip.

I have also built a client version of friendship with a couple cuddlers who make me feel safe and we can build on our stories.
