    I am awake for hours every year for the winter solstice instead of snoozing away in my coffin for hours in the summer one. It is simply exhausting and I have to increase my blood intake to maintain my energy.

    But I will put my vampiric skills to the test when I go rock climbing today.

    Happy Yule, and congrats on being the fill-in DJ, @theHugAlchemist ! You'll be great!

    My daughter and I just lit the Yule log, filled our mugs with hot cocoa (& coffee), and just pulled out the chess board to hone our skills. But first, a refill on that coffee.
