Day after Christmas is work for me.
I usually work but requested the whole two weeks off because some folks were supposed to come. That didn’t happen… so I guess cleaning the house it is!
Go to work. See the doctor about my work injury. Maybe see a movie after.
Explore the city with loved ones and hopefully cuddle someone in need 🤗

Christmas day was having my Brother over...today is visiting my Sister and Nephew. Thank goodness I'm not working until Tuesday...I'm going to be shattered!
Since my kids are older, I usually work extra so my employees can have time off around the holidays. 🎄🎁🎅🕎✡️
Rest after cooking and cleaning all day yesterday. I need a good massage 💆♀️
In bed since I have joined the ranks of the disabled and cannot walk. If it’s not rainy out I may wheel myself out of the house for a bit. I also have the new episodes of Stranger Things to catch up on since those dropped yesterday. I also got an arcade joystick for Christmas so I plan on playing some pinball in VR.
I am out with my nieces (17 & 20) they're spending their Christmas money and now I'm letting the 17 year old practice driving so she can get her license
I took my kids to my folks place for a few hours to visit with extended family, just to get home and realize out heating is out. Luckily It hasn't been that cold, so a space heater is working just fine. Unfortunately, everyone is closed till Monday unless I want to use emergency services.
Another 12 hour shift nursing trapped on my unit because we are so short staffed. Not feeling festive at all lol
Fortunately, I'm able to spend the entire Christmas school break with my daughter this year.
So, lot's of riding bicycles on the trails, bowling, a road trip to Fredericksburg (a great place to visit if you're in Central Texas), a couple of restaurants, reading a book or two together, playing some chess, visiting with relatives, tickets to go see Shen Yun (very much looking forward to seeing it), watching the New Years countdown and the parade the next morning, maybe an IMAX documentary, doing some grilling, listening to her practice piano, and whatever else we can think of.
A fun-filled couple of weeks, to be sure.
Working , but that's ok. We all get time off hopefully at another time. After, work, use new gifts that were given to me.
