A pick that I would only really choose in an ideal fiction world because this could get unhealthy IRL quick: Dean Winchester. I think cuddling that man would be like the difference between petting a feral cat and petting a family golden retriever. The amount of safety and protection that would come from being someone he lets see that side, but also the emotional intimacy of being trusted to see it to begin with. 10/10 picks for a character I could see arguing with about logistics and who gets what side of the bed and is this even worth doing and then ten minutes later you're fully tangled up with no actual complaints. Complaining and being snarky for the love of the game, not for actual complaint, and then slowly opening that up into a more trusting and quiet comfort. Some real "Your hair is soft" "Shut up" "You can't argue with me though" "I know, that's why I'm telling you to shut up instead" type shit.
Someone who I think would be a good cuddler in actual reality: Scott Lang. A goofball bleeding heart hero type who sees in shades of grey but also doesn't drown in them. Will absolutely speak up if you're accidentally elbowing his ribcage, and won't make you feel bad about it, just make a joke and ask you to readjust. Easy to be around, respects autonomy. Maybe a little distractible and scattered, but doesn't seem the type to make a pass intentionally if you're uncomfortable with that. Can 10/10 see this guy remaining casual and platonic while also being loyal and caring, and that fine balance to walk of healthy self preservation while also still being absolutely down to show up to your house at 3 AM with a box of pancake mix and more confidence in his ability to make that work than strictly lined up with his actual cooking skills. Will hold you on the couch and make sarcastic wise cracks at your favorite movie, and then proceed to cry like a baby at any sad parts, at which point who is comforting who becomes unclear and probably a matter of "both is good".
