Guest or Public Places

I'll say up front, that I am basically newbie here. One meeting, on a park bench in a relatively secluded area...in warm weather. I never know what the expectation is when the profile says they meet in a public and I cannot host. Outdoors is fine during warm weather but not when 1 degree, as today in the mid west. I don't necessarily want to climb into bed to cuddle with someone, so a hotel room for 2-3 hours is a lot of extra cost and are not comfortable. Hosting is not always an option for those with children at home, so what are some public places that work for some talking and light touching and are not going to attract attention? I am thinking that giving a nice foot rub while taking in the car front seat would be nice, but is that crazy to think that would be appealing to a woman cuddler? Like I said...I am pretty new at this. Thanks.

  • What most people mean by meeting in a public place the first time is generally a coffee shop to talk and gauge compatibility. I wouldn't count on there being any touching at the very first meeting in a public place, especially if you're meeting an enthusiast.

Seriously, there are so many indoor public places. Public just means with other people around, so a hotel room is not public.

  • I’ve met multiple new cuddle buddies “out” for coffee. Extremely casual but still plenty public. We had private, “get to know you” conversations that were more easily kept platonic possibly because of our surroundings..

  • You could go to a movie theater and cuddle. That would be public, still feel a little private, and you wouldn’t freeze to death.

  • Usually it means a public library because it is where people go to check things out.

  • I have went to dinner, the arboretum, shopping, and dancing.

  • I’ve only done one full “public” cuddle session with a pro, but it was with one that I usually do regular cuddle sessions with and at the time didn’t really have the option to host (I didn’t know about day use back then, but that’s a popular option if you only want to reserve a room for a few hours). We mainly just got dinner and drinks, walked around town and hung out in other lounges or hotel lobbies.

  • I live in coastal Southern California, so that makes public cuddles far easier than most geographical regions. My cuddle partner and I meet at a park under some trees. We use a tent for a little shelter and privacy.
