Hey there!

I moved to Jacksonville with my dog Layla a year ago. Layla and I lead a quiet and happy life together. (It used to be Layla, Midnight, and me. Sadly, Midnight passed away last year, but you can see him in my last picture. He’s gone but not forgotten.)

I enjoy being in nature and taking walks with Layla as often as possible. I’m also a big reader - you can find me with a book in my hand on most evenings.

Every so often, I’ll leave Layla at her daycare and try to take in a show. I really like operas, plays, and musicals. I also like to try new things - the other day I went indoor skydiving for example.

I enjoy learning about random things and I have a few languages under my belt. (Parlez vous francais?) I also like to dabble in hobbies, but I have the bad habit of stopping them after a while, even after I’ve gone far with them. For example, I figure skated for nine years (complete with jumps and spins!) At one point I learned the guitar and joined a rock band for a week. (It never panned out because we couldn’t find a drummer.) And during Covid, like most people I took up painting. Maybe you can tell me about your cool hobbies and entice me to add another one to my list!

I’m here because I miss live human connection. I work remotely so I don’t get a lot of it these days. I like to think that I’m a good cuddler because I always respect boundaries and my cuddlee (is that a word?) has my undivided attention. I’m more than happy to cuddle in public to start with, and as we develop some trust with time I’m happy to host or be a guest. I have a very comfortable new house (built in 2024) that is very cozy and kept clean if I need to host.
