I've been visiting this site for awhile and regularly see meet and greets in different cities. I live in Arizona and I've never once seen one for my area?
Meet & greets are hosted by individuals who decide they want to have one in their area - they're not set up or sponsored by the site.
Here is the master thread for discussing potential gatherings.
If no one is hosting in your area, you can try looking for other platonic cuddle groups on Meetup, FB groups, etc. Or, you could be the one to organize for your area! I can speak from experience - hosting is incredibly rewarding, and you get to meet so many new cuddle friends both local and long-distance!
Ok well thank you very much young lady if you were closer id beg for your help. I'm good with the actual physical organization of an event but lack the tech savvy to make it sound attractive for an enthusiast to attend
Also I went to the master thread and it's from 2022? Is it still an active conversation?
Scroll to the last page of the thread and see for yourself.
@JAZZ73 after a meet and greet is over they add that particular thread to the master thread. So you’ll see lots of different meet and greets listed that I’ve already passed.
Im sorry if reading my 2 line question took so much of your time monkey that you found it necessary to waste more of it being rude. Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it's a good one.
Don't worry everyone ill just leave the site. Forums should be open conversations not platforms for rudeness. And your teaching kids? Good luck to us all. For those considerate people that responded, thank you.
Welcome to CC, JAZZ73, where the cuddles are cozy and the forums are frigid.
I'm confused - how was @MonkeyNeedsAHug 's reply rude? They literally were just pointing out that you can see the conversation is still active by navigating to the last page. I linked to the first page precisely so it could be scanned through to see if there were people in your area who were interested. Direct communication isn't rude 🤷🏻♀️
Getting immediately defensive and threatening to leave the site aren't exactly great tactics for getting people to interact with you. So far, all the responses I've seen here have been supportive and trying to answer your questions, so I'm not sure why you feel like you're being attacked, @JAZZ73.
Regarding the tech side of things - you could always pair up with someone else local (or even not local) who is more comfortable with tech. Again, in my experience people have gone out of their way to assist with hosting tasks because they get excited and are just as passionate about building the platonic cuddling community.
I would suggest starting with seeing if there are already any local groups active, since you don't seem keen on hosting yourself. You might also try posting your interest in that M&G master thread so that if there are any locals who might be interested in hosting they can see you'd be interested in attending.
Spreading good vibes and hope for better experiences for everyone in this thread🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Occasionally people tell me I’m terse. I’m not sure if that’s due to the New England upbringing, or the law school.
But I was trying to help you find the answer to your question in a way that would help you find the answer to many more. I guess that’s the teacher in me.
Cheers, 🙊
@JAZZ73
A lot of people think rude but I’m sweet as pie lol
Don’t let it get to you
