This is genuinely something I am curious about to make cuddle experiences more fun.
I've done various forms of art with cuddle partners! Parallel play in general is a great platonic activity, especially when breaking the ice for physical contact.
I've done painting, clay models, and nail art with cuddle partners. The nail art was a super fun one - we each did our own non-dominant hands and then painted each other's dominant hands. We're both creative people so we had a blast trying out a different design on each nail 😁
Oh! And coloring books are fun as well! You can lay on the floor or bed, legs entwined, and chat while coloring!
I think something along these lines has come up in other threads; sharing hobbies and passions for things you value can be a wonderful bridge for human connection.
my own thoughts are that encouraging creativity and cuddling are wonderful complementary activities.
This sounds like a lot of fun, actually. I would definitely do any kind of art during a cuddle session.

I have tons of art projects/commissions to get done...I would love to get some other work done at the same time.....now that I don't need the cuddle time to force myself NOT to draw from grief. 😅

I work with glass. Fused glass and stained glass. There is no way cuddling is going to happen in those environments.
I like the idea of coloring books/paint by numbers, legs entwined, though.

@VAdude cuddling isn't always full body contact embracing. Even casual, partial touch can have many of the same benefits. People have different definitions of what constitutes "cuddling" - everything from virtual cuddling visualizations & self-touch practices, to spooning/full body contact.
@cuddlefaery I love all forms of art, but none that I can think of really intersect with cuddling. Especially if someone is paying for a pro, why would they not actually have body contact?
@VAdude because sometimes what a client is missing is the casual touch they would normally get with a spouse/partner. Things like holding hands while walking or sitting & talking, rubbing feet under a table, leaning against one another while sitting in a couch working on different things, holding each other while dancing, etc.
And art can very easily be combined with all forms of cuddling. Doing craft projects with legs across each other. Holding hands or leaning against each other while making music. Coloring, drawing, or painting as described previously. Dancing together is an art.
Part of the reason so many people are so very touch starved is because they've artificially limited themselves as far as what touch, especially platonic touch, is. If you believe the only form of cuddling is with a romantic/sexual partner and you are monogamous or not in a relationship, you're by necessity going to be getting far less of your touch needs met than someone who is open to cuddling with all sorts of people from different relationship structures and in different ways physically.
Find a partner, then a gallery, and cuddle as an exhibit. If someone wants to buy this piece of performance art, then be sure you and your partner have a pink “P” tattooed on your forehead.

I think this is a lovely idea that MOSTLY women would be interested in. I don't see many men paying what we charge for coloring and cuddling.

I've painted aprons and graduation caps with acrylics using fabric medium. I'd absolutely love to paint something for my cuddle partner, like the back panel of a Jean jacket, during a cuddle session. Maybe a lighthouse and sunset beach theme, butterflies and flowers. Or whatever they like.
The artsy folks will be into it, no mater their gender, and those are my people anyway 🤷🏻♀️
