I always ask them what would they like to eat, I also ask about any food allergies (that they may have) so I can avoid triggering any of those as well. 😁👍

At the wedding I went to this weekend, they were passing around cake that for some unknown reason had banana cream filling instead of vanilla. Thankfully my partner noticed and grabbed mine away from me before I tried it - I couldn't smell it, it looked just like plain vanilla, and having to use an epi pen an hour away from the nearest hospital would kinda have ruined the weekend 😅 I had him taste-test any further baked goods after that, because who puts banana cream in a berries & cream cake?!? 😂
