What's your favorite thing to do while cuddling? Do you like to eat snacks in bed while trying not to drop crumbs? lol
I usually get snacks per request, especially for longer sessions.
I usually have a pot of tea, but no actual snacks. Chewing in close proximity would be a very unpleasant experience.
If I did have snacks, though, I'd certainly avoid crazy snacks. No nuts (potential allergies) and no crackers (crumbs).
Tea is nice. But I don’t really want anything to eat.
I like to try to be present. That’s my favorite thing to do.
No snacks while cuddling but I always make sure to have cold drinks and maybe even some delicious Key Lime pie on hand
I've never eaten while lying in bed cuddling but I have eaten during a cuddle session.
I try to have snacks for overnight sessions.
Not while cuddling. But if we’re hanging out for a little longer then snacking has happened. Cold beverages nearby are a must have for me.
lol I have snacks for most sessions… but probably because I’m Fat and I like to eat.
I could see a cheese & fruit plate or charcuterie board maybe. Small, one bite cookies or another simple dessert. @waynewv I love the idea of Key Lime Pie!!!
For some reason my hunger usually seems to be curbed while cuddling, so I often don't eat anything until afterwards. I usually try to keep a bottle of water nearby to keep hydrated, but sometimes I can go for long moments without drinking when I don't want to move out of a position. I usually take a sip of water when changing positions though if I remember. If I do eat, it's either after or in between cuddling. Like before I've cuddled for an time, ate something, then cuddled again. Though I try not to cuddle on a full stomach just in case. I'd hate for a position to make my stomach hurt or worse to have bad breath or expel gas from either end. lol
@CSnMUS87 That’s so interesting to hear someone else say that. I feel the same way actually. I have had some majorly extended cuddle hangouts. And I haven’t found myself to be hungry during them. I generally have snacks on me at all times and I make sure I have some in the car waiting for me. Because afterwards I’m definitely hungry. 😂
Sometimes we're just too relaxed to feel hungry. And speaking mainly for myself, I know that autistic people tend to have trouble with interoception, which would help explain not feeling hungry when we're focused on something.
@IronicMaiden Well that’s fair. One of the reasons I usually have snacks on me is because I forget to eat. 😁
If I had a cuddle every day I bet I could lose weight by not having midnight snacks or big meals 😆. Maybe that's a way I could lower my calorie intake - instead of snacks between meals, just have cuddles between meals along with exercise somewhere in there.
@CSnMUS87 I agree on multiple levels. Sometimes we eat because we're bored. I've heard the description of eating "because my mouth is lonely". Companionship in general helps in many ways.
For cuddles 🥰 my favorite thing, besides an initial hug 🫂, is to start with stretches and a few lymphatic drainage movements, which break the ice and get us both ready to snuggle. 🤗
Love 💗 offering a few snacks, alcohol free drink bar with water, liquid IV electrolytes, tea packets, sugar free cold water packets, sugar free soda and a few grab n go snacks, breath mints and Tylenol. Electric candles, a few clean pairs of socks and glow sticks help set the mood ambiance.
Movie 🍿 cuddles 🥰 require snacks and cuddles require water.
Sometimes I have spa 🧖♀️ water on tour for my cuddle buddies.
I’ve been known to travel with a hot water kettle and pour over coffee ☕️ glass carafe.
A bit of hospitality and options make me feel like a gracious hostess. Love to set others at ease and feel prepared for the sessions as best I can bringing in a bit of home.
Buying waters or snacks at the hotel or in touristy areas is pricey so I grab them before my snuggles arrive.
Snuggling is made better with water and snacks imo.
I usually have a couple frozen pizzas ready to go!
If we have never met before it must be factory sealed. Also don't like getting crumbs. We must be seated at a table if we are eating snacks and there must be napkins
@trysdet That's why I like the pot of tea. Both cups from the same place. Although it is true that no one knows if I've been building up a resistance to iocane powder.
Yeeessssss let’s roll around in the snacks!!! 🤣🤣 Then we can build a cuddle fort and play shadow puppets with flashlights and just giggle til we pass out after the pillow fight.
JK. I don’t take snacks from strangers. My regulars on the hand, we definitely snack attack! Cuz why not 🤷🏽♀️
God knows I’m trying to stay away from snacks. I have a really bad sweet tooth.
Garlic stuffed olives always guarantee they won't try to kiss me and keeps things platonic
I don’t know about WHILE cuddling, but definitely BEFORE cuddling! The term “hangry” exists for a reason. Most of us are aware of it though and eat before or have snacks with us. I’m glad I’m not the only one who forgets to eat a meal though! Communication’s a big one on this matter. I may be late if I need to stop and get something or if someone were to randomly offer something simple, that would work too (Personally, I’d never expect that, but some people could “make it happen”)!
I brought chocolate cookies, mixed berries, and whipped cream to my last cuddle
You can almost order anything via DoorDash, from wine, soda, dinners, ice cream or even late night cookies. It really depends on the time frame and location
If the snacks are tasty enough, I'm okay with just stuffing our faces on opposite sides of the couch and not cuddling.
As for crumbs? That's what dogs are for.
Personally I have not munched while cuddling. During breaks yes… but never had the pleasure to cuddle someone who treats me like Cleopatra. Oh woe is me… 😆
I try to have snackies whenever I can! 🥨🍟🍕Except when it interferes with snuggling 🤗
Longer sessions require some sustenance...and sharing snacks while watching movies is super fun too! I love each bringing favorite snack/food to share, it's a historically fantastic way to learn about each other! 😁
None of my sessions have lasted long enough to require snacks, but I always have stuff available at home just in case, usually will keep fruits, chips, frozen stuff. But usually have a couple bottles of water in the fridge before someone comes over and will take a couple of them with us just in case.
@IronicMaiden love love love that movie
