Interesting Questions

edited February 2018 in General

I've a few questions that were interesting to me from Google. Hope you've a good weekend all! :)

  1. If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

  2. What was your favorite toy growing up?

  3. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

  4. Are you a night or morning person?

  5. If you could be great at one sport which would you choose? Or anything else for those of you not sport fans...

  6. What was the first thing you wished to become when you grow up?

Happy weekend to you too!! ^.^

1-id like to know the total truth to the concept of aliens, and where they exist.

2- polly pockets, dolls, and littlest pet shop.

3- "Do you think we met in another life", "what is your favorite flavor of food/do you want that one all the time", "do you think us humans are as cute, as I think you are?!"

4- I used to be a night time person, but recently have been going to bed around 10 pm, and waking around 8 am.

5- mixed martial arts; would be super fit, and super skilled!

    6- A writer. :)

7-if you could choose to be an animal, what would you choose?

8- Do you beleive in ghosts?

9- do you beleive in Angels?

10-Which of your parents are you closer to?

    1. I would ask what the ultimate purpose of life is.
    2. Growing up my favourite toy was mud... making things out of mud. :D
    3. I would ask my future pet(s) 1) what are your favorite meals? 2) Do you like the name I gave you? :D 3) What do you like about me?

    4. Generally I am a night owl.

    5. If I could be great at any sport I would choose Badminton or the more realistic now (cue sport) Pool (if that's not 'really' a sport, I'd say Chess. ;)
    6. I wanted to be an Orthopedic Surgeon.

    @Brandi
    Interesting answers and questions. :)

    7) I would choose to be either a cat or a lion. Eitherway, I'd stay in the Cat Family. :D
    8) I think ghosts and angels possibly exist.

    1. What is my purpose?
    2. Legos or trampolines
    3. Why do you always want attention and cuddles when I'm carrying in firewood but run away from me all other times? What could make you want cuddles more often? Do you want me to chase off the stray tomcats that hang around or leave them be?
    4. Night for sure. That's when all of my ideas and inspiration hits me. Unfortunately I have to get up at 5:30 at least four days a week to go to work.
    5. No sports: socializing. Being social does not come naturally to me, and I have to work really hard to figure out how to do anything social.
    6. Trash man. The guy who came to pick up our trash when I was little was super nice and always had Double Bubble gum for me and my little sister.
    7. Cat. They can get cuddles whenever they want.
    8. No, I've not seen or experienced anything to suggest that they exist.
    9. The classical robed, winged figure? Nah. Flying babies? Nah. Powerful agents of God? Certainly.
    10. My mom. But she's moving out of the country in a week. :(

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask? Where did we all come from.

What was your favorite toy growing up? Atari 2600

If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be? Are you happy? Do you miss anyone? Is anyone here that I can’t see lol?

Are you a night or morning person? Night

If you could be great at one sport which would you choose? Or anything else for those of you not sport fans... Basketball

What was the first thing you wished to become when you grow up? Athlete

If you could choose to be an animal, what would you choose? Wookie

Do you beleive in ghosts? I believe in energy and think what many seenas traditional ghosts is very likely residual energy.

Do you beleive in Angels? In heavenly terms, eh, in a more earthly sense, yes.

Which of your parents are you closer to? Neither

  • 1) How to build the optimal fusion power plant with materials and workmanship that is available today

    2) PC....or the outdoors if you can consider that a toy

    3) Why are you so interested in coyotes? Why do you eat poopsicles? What can I do to make you happy?

    4) I am a night person

    5) I would like to be great at art I think. I know that I could be decent with a lot of practice, but to get it for free, and be amazing at it and not just competent, well, that would be cool.

    6) A paleontologist.....that's probably pretty common.

    7) Human

    8) I am 99.99999% sure they don't exist. Given proof of their existence I would though.

    9) I am 99.99999% sure they don't exist. Given proof of their existence I would though.

    10) I don't know. I don't think I am super close to either of mine as I would find it difficult to discuss certain things with them. That's unfortunate, but also a product of how I was raised I guess. I don't have issues talking to other people about things.

  • @jasoncuddles I was gonna say human also lol

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

    Ooh, fun.

    1. If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?
"How can I extend my existence to infinity?"

    2. What was your favorite toy growing up?
Emily, my doll. (Who is currently sitting on a chair in my bedroom, surrounded by stuffed animals. Yes, I am an adult, why do you ask?)

    3. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?
    I—but—you can always ask....
Except if you don't have a pet. Which I don't.

    4. Are you a night or morning person?
Night, beyond a shadow (hahaha, get it?) of a doubt.

    5. If you could be great at one sport which would you choose?
This isn't even a hypothetical, alas. I could be great at a sport, if only I'd pick one. As matters stand, I suppose I've chosen not to choose. Oh well. I like reading better anyway.

    6. What was the first thing you wished to become when you grew up?
I don't remember, but I do remember what I said when I was asked: "Either a thief, a spy, or an assassin!"
I was a weird little kid.

    7. If you could choose to be an animal, what would you choose?
I don't dislike the body I'm wearing at the moment enough to discard it for something that can't read books, so I'm with JasonCuddles (and pre-Wookie Morpheus): human.

    8. Do you believe in ghosts?
I've been asked this question before. "No," I said, "they are entirely untrustworthy."

    9. Do you believe in angels?
At the moment I've assigned 'existence of angels' a relatively low probability percentage, but (as per usual with me) I'll update on evidence and revise the strength of my [dis]belief up or down according to the amount and strength of whatever evidence I encounter.

    10. Which of your parents are you closer to?
    The rational one.

    11. Do you like tea (Earl Grey, for example, hot)?
I actually prefer green, but black teas are nice, too.

  • If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

Wow. This should be easy. I can’t think of anything that would be more than a curiosity question.

What was your favorite toy growing up?

We played outside nonstop and were very poor. Without a doubt it was my imagination! My children have all talked about this and their answers always surprise me.

If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

Why? Seriously? And what does that look mean?

Are you a night or morning person?

Both, but increasingly tilting toward morning.

If you could be great at one sport which would you choose? Or anything else for those of you not sport fans...

Baseball. I always wanted to be a picture. However I was very successful as a runner and loved it but baseball would have paid more lol.

What was the first thing you wished to become when you grow up?

A pitcher for the Detroit Tigers

  • At 10 definitely a starter and old enough that closers weren’t as big of a deal then. Lol

Did the math, considering your age, you very likely could have won a ring and 84. I’m a Dodgers fan, I had amazing 81 and 88.

  • 1 - Do we continue energeticallyh/on some quantum level after we die?

2 - Handheld electronic memory game: Merlin

3 - My dog was a rescue. I would ask: What can I do to lower your anxiety? How can I help you sleep without night terrors? How old are you, because you could be anywhere from 7-11 years old?

4 - Night. I'm only a morning person after coffee and a hot shower, in that order.

    5 - Volleyball, if I wasn't as short AF.

    6 - A sci-fi/fantasy author.

7 - Sparkly unicorn for sure. Fear me.

8 - The living scare me more than the dead do.

9 - Human ones, sure. Angelic one would be a stretch.

10 - I'm not close to either as one is deceased and the other has dementia.

    1. Why do I/we exist?
    2. Pre-13-years-old it would be Construx and Legos. Post 13-years-old My computer.
    3. I've pondered this many times. I wonder what type of home she escaped from and what life was like for her. Since their is evidence that she had a litter, I wonder what her puppies were like.
    4. I'm the person most people hate...a morning person. No coffee, tea or caffeine needed.
    5. Volleyball. Love to play it, but am not good enough for league play. I did play in a B league once, but the opposing teams were all playing at some level beyond A-league or Semi-pro. Players on our team kept having to step out for a round because they took a violently spiked ball directly to the head or gut.
    6. I had a vivid imagination: I wanted to be a Ghostbuster
