What is your guilty pleasure?

  • I don’t know if it is a guilty pleasure so much as i mortify my music nerd self because i love a couple of songs by Nelly....hot in herre...so terrible, but soooo good.

  • Whoppers malted milk balls. They are so good.

  • @tarasloth You will be so jealous to know that I saw Nelly live, though was only a single performer on a festival lineup lol however I did see the full set except for when I went back to the tent to refill my crawfish plate

  • @creedhands isn’t it crazy how many little restaurants you see driving around you would have never known existed. I was driving from one end of York County to the other and saw little places I had never heard of but was always afraid to try one.

I love eating out and trying new restaurants! I’ll sometimes do it even if its not really in my budget for the week to do so....

  • Those are nice treats!

I have discovered boba tea and where has it been all my life holy cow !! I make a special trip to the mall just to stand in line for one of those things at least 3 times per week

  • I'll try to stick to OP's rules. The list of pleasures without guilt could fill a book, so no need to mention those. Guilty.....I guess when I go to Taco Bell and get 3-4 things rather than 1-2, or having some chocolate chip cookies dipped in ice cold milk, and not stopping when I should. :o

  • I love food 😂😂

  • @UKGuy - Your EDM could also be lumped in with what I call FDM (fun driving music).
Nightcore - Thanks for that @Lovelight - I hadn't heard that term and was thinking it was going to be some kind of lilting pan-flute meditation music mixed with ASMR tracks - yikes!) So yah ~ nightcore, EDM, techno, etc. (basically anything rave worthy) all pair well with driving on a winding road through the trees on a sunny day, or through a snowstorm at night!

But, shh... Sometimes when I go for pretty drives, I'll blast what ever 80's music station I can find and scream-sing along! From alternative, to love songs, to butt rock, etc. if it's 80's music and I'm alone in the car - it's probably loud and so am I!
    🚙🎸🎶🔊 😝🗯

@quixotic_life lol you said butt rock heh heh

  • @pmvines ~ Lol!
    Tina too~ A lot (2:40)!

Bob's Burgers - Yep, another guilty pleasure...

  • French fries 🍟🤯

  • I like watching youtube videos of people popping pimples. The squishy sound is what releases dopamine in my brain lol!!!

  • @Afrochemist more people enjoy that than will admit

  • @Afrochemist - 🤢🤮 You are so much stronger than I am! I can deal with it irl, but two seconds of one of those a videos and I'm fully unhinged! 🤯
    shutters

  • Maybe not a "guilty" pleasure but it's a pleasure I'm guilty of enjoying so...

Serenading friends and family with made up songs, that turns whatever is going on, into a musical! I have zero singing or acting ability, but I fully commit and finish with jazz-hands every time!

    I LOVE Bob's Burgers!

I don't know if this is a guilty pleasure but I LOVE cooking shows.
I know nothing about cooking but I find them relaxing

Life is short, and for the most part, filled with frustration, grief, and pain.

All I ask of my pleasures are that they harm no one else.

Beyond that, those few things that are a pleasure to me (long conversations, being creative, music, baseball, cooking, and ice cream) cause me no guilt whatsoever.

@CharlesInWI Why do activities and things cause you guilt? And we all have guilt about something; it’s part of being human.

Not condemning you for it, i am just genuinely curious. I know people that avoid fears, stress, and danger but guilt is something different. Guilt is usually felt after the fact. I am no therapist but actively avoiding guilt sounds like you judge yourself too harshly.

  • Fruity Pebbles, buying way too many books, tea all day every day, buying pretty notebooks, and being a genuine hermit.
