How do I change my username?
In another thread @CuddleDuncan wrote "If you want you can Mute your profile, which means you won't appear in Search results although people you have messaged will be able to click onto your profile, and also anybody who sees your name in the forum."
If an account is muted will those who click onto the profile from the discussion forum be able to send a private message to the muted profile if the two have not previously messaged each other? Or can those who click onto the muted account profile from the discussion forum only be able to send a private message if the two have already messaged each other?
I am getting lots of requests for video sessions. I don't know how to provide cuddling services over video. Can someone please help give me the guidelines and expectations for this sort of session? Thank you!

@Kempist I believe if you mute, you only remove yourself from searches. People can still view your profile via direct link, and thus would be able to send you a message.
You have to deactivate your profile if you want to block incoming messages entirely - it takes your profile down temporarily so new visitors have no way of messaging you.
Edit: correction - upon a forum deep dive, it appears that if you mute, only people you've messaged with previously can message you. Your profile is still viewable by direct link, but new visitors cannot message you unless you message them first.
So I cant afford much and cant get much response from any locals that are free. Now what? I have been touch starved for over twenty years and could really use some help. I am slightly autistic, which makes my social skills a little rough around the edges.
@DavesNotHere420 it's common for men to go weeks or even months until they have a cuddle session. If you can't afford a professional save up until you do. Some people will only cuddle iwth you if you have a review.
There are other things like become more active in the message boards, update your profile, pictures, and just be patient. If you're not willing to do that you won't be successful finding anyone on cuddle comfort dot com. But this isn't the only website for cuddling- there are MANY.
Also play with a cat- or even better a dog. T hey love cuddles
Question for admins/mods:
How do I get my profile picture to appear in these forums? I noticed it isn't showing. Is there something I need to change on my end? I have the image set to public and there's a star on it for default.

@SafeWarmPlzKthx i asked this question as well months ago. I think what finally got mine to appear was changing my default profile picture. I can’t tell you that’s the fix, but it seemed to show up after I commented on a thread after doing so. Maybe try uploading another picture and setting it as default. Then you could go back and switch to the one you have now as default if you’d prefer. Worth a try and good luck!

I shared this in another thread, but thought it might be useful for those looking for the forum search feature:
If you're on mobile browser, go to the General forum tab then scroll allllllll the way to the bottom. I believe on a desktop it's instead on the right hand side bar. It only shows up if you're on the main page that lists all the threads. It's not a super robust search - mostly just keywords, though you can also search usernames to see when people have tagged them.
You can also do a manual search using the URL and just editing the search term. www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/search?Search=keyword (just change the keyword/s)
You can also manually look up all the comments and posts you, or any other user, has made. www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/profile/comments/username (just change the username)
You can also manually get to a person's profile by using the direct URL: www.cuddlecomfort.com/username
@cuddlefaery you should start a thread just with this info so we can all save it. 😁 I know you've posted it before. I've even taken a screen shot of it, and yet when I need it i can't find it anywhere 🤣

I’ve been noticing when people try to request a booking with me that the booking request will expire before I can get to it. I check for messages and bookings once a day. Why are they expiring so quickly and what is causing these booking requests to expire?
@KathrynL I'm not sure the time frame they stick around before expiring but it could also have to do with what time they scheduled it...?
Also I rarely missing a booking... I went to my settings and set up email notifications for when I recieve a message or booking so I am alerted
@KathrynL that's probably a question to put directly to the site admin - you can either DM them or use the site Contact Us form.
I have a friend that has had a pending application for pro in for a week and hasn’t heard anything. Does that mean she was rejected or it’s just not been reviewed yet?
@Countrygirl330 it just means it hasn't been reviewed yet. It's a small team and they do get a slight backlog sometimes.

Im sure this has been asked. If a client makes "advances" towards you during the session, do you give them their money back you collected? Just curious.

Absolutely not ! They don't get rewarded with a refund for breaking TOS and making advanced towards you

@NrvusNellie hell no. They broke contract in that situation - you don't owe them anything. The session ends immediately, you get yourself somewhere safe, and you report & block them.
