In my experience, especially in group cuddles, I feel invisible. People are just not into old guys like me, at least with any kind of enthusiasm. I’ve approached others at cuddle events, and with one or two exceptions, the very few that said yes acted like they didn’t want to be seen as ageist, but really weren’t into it. I have a really good professional cuddler who treats me very well, but that gets expensive quickly.
I had this wild notion that a cuddle deprived senior was rare except for me. Or perhaps its only the guy seniors that are cuddle deprived.
