Why are people deleting their accounts?!?!?!

[Deleted User]Snuggler21685 (deleted user)

I had a pro delete her account after replying to me that she wanted to meet me! What could someone possibly gain by doing that? I really hope it was just a mistake. It’s really hard to find anyone, even pros.

So true - this is by far the best cuddling site, but it is still very hard to find anyone

  • Maybe someone she knew saw her and made an issue about it?

  • Where are you located that its so hard to find people? also some peoples accounts get banned they might be catfish or scammers

  • I don't think they gain anything from saying yes and then deleting their account. Most likely she had a change of mind about wanting to cuddle with strangers, someone else objected or something came up.

In my experience, around 25% to 35% of the new profiles I bookmark are gone within 3 months.

You seem slightly overeager and maybe she mistook it for desperation and ran for the hills.

There are infinite possibilities why someone would cancel a session or delete their account.

Unless you're Professor X it's a waste of time and energy to figure out why.

    Good luck.

Snuggler21685 your struggle to find a snuggle buddy might have something to do with your profile. I’m just saying

I live smack dab in the middle of Southern California. 5 miles from me are 227 men (most with one or two line profiles) and 25 women. Add to those numbers 7 female pros and one male pro. Showing by "Last online" the first woman was online 3 weeks ago. It then drops down to years pretty fast. You can pretty much guess what's going on here.

If we were to remove cuddlers that have been gone for a year or more, it turns to 8 women, 100 men... pro men drop to zero and pro women drop to 5.

@PeopleLikeUs - I don't think anyone can 'guess' what's going on, but to have so many men and so few women (some of whom I'm sure cuddle only other women) is not a good situation for men looking for a cuddle partner. Why so many women sign up and then seldom if ever come online? There are probably many different reasons. But anyone who has not been online in a year should be removed in my opinion.

  • I would not remove old dormant profiles because I have seen way too many pop up as recent because they were dealing with personal things (divorce, too busy, etc.) and were not on for awhile before that. Also, the profiles are arranged in the order of most recent to prehistoric so it is pretty easy to determine who is active and who is not. I think this is a gnat of a problem in the grand scheme of things.

I also do not understand the problem some guys are having finding someone to cuddle with. I travel around all the time and have people I see in just about every area. Based on one thing the ladies have told me that I cuddle with is some guys are way too demanding on what they want from a session. Others are too picky. I don’t know, but I have been very fortunate and have a roster of great pros and non-pros to rely on that are reliable.

I also hear that too many guys request a 24 hour or less meeting. I am usually booking 2-3 weeks out and the ladies appreciate that and I do too because I am already looking at my travels in February 2019.

  • Interesting "Facts" posted @PeopleLikeUs . I'm in SoCal in The OC and I log in almost every day to check messages. With numbers like that, I should be busy all the time. That is unless I'm hideous, not their cup of tea, or not providing the service some of these guys are seeking. (I was asked to refund a guy his money since I wouldn't provide the service his brother guaranteed he'd get after I drove half an hour out to meet with him in early morning traffic, my bad, my loss).

I do look at profiles and once booked, I prefer to do a phone call or video chat. I got banned for giving out my phone number in advance of the booking which sucks cause my time is valuable.

I don't discriminate, but I do not schedule with guys looking for more than my cuddling services. I use other sources to drive my business and I rely on this business as well as my "Day" job as I am a single mother. So when they are a no show or cancel, it disrupts my daily schedule.

I get a lot of spontaneous request as @FunCartel mentioned. Not enough time for me to rearrange my schedule.
As for the scheduled appointments, I get a lot of no shows and last minute cancellations. I thought about requesting a nonrefundable deposit, but since we all want to be discreet, they won't use money apps to transfer funds.

Since I can't talk on the phone prior to booking, their email correspondence is crucial for me to figure out what they are really looking for. Keep in mind @Snuggler21685, your words are important and you can send a picture in the email if you choose not to post it online.

  • @JaneBond in Orange County you're competing with $20 an hour full body massages in Little Saigon. There all over the place and they're packed.

  • Maybe I need to provide a new service of body massages. But then again, they probably get a happy ending which I do not and will not provide.

  • I strongly recommend filling out your profile and adding a picture, people in general will be more comfortable with you, pros or otherwise.

@PeopleLikeUs is right on the money.

@JaneBond If the sexual service providers in your area are well-established, your business is not going to boom, at least for a good long while. Then again, it's not like I would want to entertain people who think I need to compete with massage parlors or escorts, or "cuddlers" who apparently have secret menus. Has a lot to do with the culture where you're living as well. In conservative, Bible belt Alberta where I live, you'd be hard-pressed to find many people who are genuinely into this. Most people think it's underground prostitution, no matter what words you use, or how well you try to differentiate your service. It's taken me 2 years to book maybe anywhere from 100 to 200 appointments or consultations (not from here, mind you) and out of that I maybe have only a dozen repeating regulars in and out of the province/country.

  • @JaneBond None of the masseuses in Little Saigon massage parlors do anything sexual. Most of those massages at $20 an hour are relatively public. They do the massages in open areas on cots. You can pay $30 an hour for more of a room with a see-through curtain. I've seen guys being tossed out for asking, but that doesn't happen much because everyone knows not to. I have high regard for the Asian massage businesses in Little Saigon and tip like crazy. They love me, I love them. I do understand why someone would want to pay for a cuddle instead of a massage and I am perplexed, as you are, as to why you're not doing better as a pro.

  • @PeopleLikeUs I was kind of taking a shot in the dark with my comment obviously, but regardless of what kind of massage it is, $20 for any type of bodywork is exceedingly cheap. Is that the going rate just for Asian massage, or is it kind of in that range for the whole of OC? Up here in Canada, it'd be difficult to even find untrained hands at less than $50 per hour.

I'd also think that SoCal would be busier in the cuddle scene given California is a bit more of an open-minded state. They've got Cuddle Sanctuary after all.

And @JaneBond you are a gorgeous lady, so I highly doubt anybody is taken aback by your look — if somebody is, they're a whackadoodle who needs their head examined! :/

  • You all are awesome with your responses. I need to find me a $20 massage! Lol
I get request but little come through. I do have a handful of regulars but they not too frequent. I did have one guy tell me he was intimidated by my pics. Had to go through them to see what he meant, any advice is appreciated. And thank you @Catloaf I honestly appreciate you.

  • @Catloaf $20 is the hourly rate for Asian massage in Little Saigon here in Orange County CA. I can go to Venice CA in Los Angeles County and get the same Asian massage for $40.00. You pay this to the house up front and then tip whatever you'd like which they suggest is between $5 and $20. I tip mine $60 sometimes $80 and she goes for like an hour forty minutes, really deep. These masseuse are here on Visas and sometimes vanish. But the house knows I like mine sledgehammer deep and will stear me to someone that can accommodate.

It's much easier and less expensive for me to find a massage than find a cuddler. Where I live there are at least four masssage places within 3 miles of my house. And I don't mean seedy Asian massage parlours, these are legitimate places with licenced massage therapists. The only place I've seen really inexpensive massages ($35/hr) is a local massage school which offers special deals where their new graduates gain practice.

  • I am in Los Angeles where you think they will be a lot of people but no one seems to be sincere on this site. All people want to do is just have vapid and meaningless stupid back-and-forth emails no one wants to even speak on the phone

  • edited November 2018

@WestsideMarc Are you contacting enthusiast cuddlers or pros? By site policy, communication with pros needs to stay on the site. As well, some people are wary about sharing their phone number too soon. CC isn't a dating site so you can't expect instant success, or for people to be particularly active on this platform as it's growing.

  • I believe cuddling offers much more than a massage. The point is missed. Massages do not offer the same effect as touch therapy. Touch therapy has more of an emotional impact in various ways. Personally, I am very sincere with each of my clients. Each one is different from the other. I find out what they think they want, I listen, I ask questions, I do what I can to make sure they are comfortable, and relaxed. By the time our session has ended, their gratitude says a lot. I have clients front the age of 24 to 78. Each one has a special need so every session is designed for them specifically. Whether they have lost a loved one, in a passionless relationship, single and just need to feel the warmth of a body, emotional pain, PTSD, dealing with sickness or disabilities. I have clients in a wide range of needs. My repeat clients tell me that I help them. They feel safe with me. I listen and only offer my option from my perspective as a woman. I get questions on dating, relationship, and what I think women want. I am not a specialist so I maintain a non biased opinion.
I am very sincere and I cuddle in integrity. These are services that a masseur could not offer. Therefore there is a need and the cost associated with it is worth it for my clients. Half of my clients are only 1 hour sessions and half do 2 hours all the time.
I’ve been cuddling for over a year and only on this site for half that time. My previous clients send me referrals as does a therapist I know who works with Veterans.
Nothing wrong with a massage though, I could seriously use one right now.

  • @UKGuy "seedy Asian" ???

  • Don't pick fights please. This has been a good thread so far. Everyone has perceptions based solely on their experience, doesn't mean it's right and it doesn't mean it's wrong. Just theirs.

  • edited November 2018

@PeopleLikeUs - Yes, seedy Asian. The places that have neon lights at night and get shut doen by the authorities because their therapists are unlicenced. To practice massage in Arizona, you have to be a licenced massage therapist.

@JaneBond - cuddling may offer more than massage, I don't know, I haven't been able to find a cuddle partner.

@UKGuy They're fully licensed and like I said, here on visas.
