@UKGuy I would certainly cuddle with you if you were near. I read your profile and I see no reason why someone wouldn’t want to cuddle you. You are intelligent (I’m a Sapiophile), you are sweet and endearing. You seem to have s knack for good banter per the post I see on the forums. So to anyone not cuddling with you Pro or not, they are the ones who are missing out on your company. I hope you find a wonderful person to cuddle with.

So now I'm in Carson (Los Angeles County) and there are 144 men to 14 women within 5 miles. Factor in a 1 year cut off and those numbers change to 64 and 6 respectively.
I should add I was over here in Long Beach 2 weeks ago and within 20 minutes of my having contacted a woman, we were cuddling for 3 hours in her back seat. Last online really helps, but here in Carson, the first woman is at 1 week, the second woman is at 3 months.
I have noticed that as well. So many who signed up to be professionals have recently either deleted or deactivated their accounts. I am sure there are a variety of reasons, but I wonder if its because they don't get enough business? I have had 4 sessions in the last 2 months. Honestly, I would have done even more sessions and with more cuddlers if the prices for the sessions (and travel fees) were reduced. Sometimes it is just too expensive.
Funny you say that @Jay222 because I've had quite a few friends delete their profiles recently because they're sick of paying all the travel (and other) fees on top of the hourly rate.
Maybe folks need to meet in the middle...
@chococuddles I had 1 person tell me the only reason she had the rate she did was because the site suggests a rate when you sign up to be a paid pro. Perhaps the site should consider suggesting a lower rate as a base to go by so the rates would come down. Also, it seems to me if you cannot host then you should not charge a travel fee. I can understand a travel fee if you can host but the client wants you to be a guest.
Agree with Jay222, I would see cuddlers more if the prices weren't a lot higher than they used to be.
I recently posted on another thread that things here have gotten way out of control. I was recently quoted $100 an hour with a $100 travel fee. The prices have gone through the roof and pros are charging more for every little thing. I had a pro tell me that a public session would be an extra $10. Why would a public session have to be an extra $10? How does that make any sense? Then you have pros who don’t host and don’t drive and expect you to pay their uber fee. Why should a client be penalized because a pro can’t host nor drive and have to pay her Uber fees? The only way that things are going to improve is if clients ban together and agree to stop paying ridiculous prices and for overinflated travel fees and “extras”.
I agree with jay222, some of the prices I see here in FL., is up there with hookers, LOL, at least that is what I hear, our local news tells what they charge when caught !!!. If I have to pay $100.00++, I sure would not give a tip, but if 1/2 that or less, then I would give a tip. , just my 2 cents worth !
Here is my thoughts on this matter .....I charge travel fees because my car takes gas ☺️and it’s my time so if I’m willing to spend hours on the road to meet with you I need to make sure I’m covered for my expenses driving and wear on my vehicle also. Traveling can be tricky because sometimes it’s a gamble if your cuddler will even show up. So if I’m hosting and my cuddler doesn’t show up not only am I out the gas but drive time, room charges and the cost of the session. I do think once you’ve established a cuddling relationship with a client and a trust is built sessions are able to change as far as price at the pros discretion. I do think this is something you absolutely talk to them about if you are a regular and want to continue to have sessions with them. There are ways to cut travel fees down for the cuddler by booking multiple sessions in an area of travel....this can be tricky for us to offer this trying to remain “professional “ We do have a minimum that we have to charge also keeping in mind what we pay back to the site. A good solution for travel fees to be lowered is booking multiple sessions for the pro in an area....what is an acceptable way to go about this as a pro to cut the traveling fees without sounding creepy ??♀️ You tell me...I’m open to suggestions.
If a "pro" does not give you the option to come to their place, should the burden of expense be shifted to the client? I can understand if the client has the option to go and chooses rather to host. Then the client should pay the travel fees. Either way, if you are charging top dollar per hour and travel fees in addition, you are going to eliminate a lot of potential clients. That has to be a happy medium somewhere. Pros would get a lot more clients if they reduce the fees.
We need to consider that REGARDLESS of pro, enthusiasts, or someone who's just curious... We are all human beings who have lives, some have families and children, some only have x amount of time and energy of to give to others.
The fact that we go out of our way just like any person would to make sure the experience is well, we have to realize that we are not machines, time passes, our energy and where we put it is not infinite everyday.
**Any other professional would charge these things. I have had many roles in my life with doctors, lawyer's, business owners, and CEO's. If there is an expense for a service or someone's time, they are usually upfront about it.
A MAJOR red flag is if someone is rude or talks down to me for my rates, my boundaries, ect. I wouldn't share my space with you on any level and I will not. I am about connection, but I also know my worth and I'm an amazing companion on so many facets. Not everyone is me, I get that, but I'm not here to have anything but a positive experience.
what makes it any less authentic what someone who is a pro here does?
Because IF you're choosing to stigma what someone brings to the table is less than worthy of the time spent into what that person in a different field gives you because of how off handed some view cuddling and platonic touch, make it less valuable of investment and courtesy? This site is about promoting a healthy lifestyle and safe space.
I am playing devil's advocate and mean well, I drive and host in my local city and am here to keep things light hearted, but if we took more time having a sense of cognition we can understand more **

EDIT: Well you can clearly read on my profile, if you took the time, which I don't expect, you will see I include an hour free for hotel. And just like most pros, I offer discounts at the 2+ hour range and for regulars.

I have been a regular user of Cuddlecomfort and I have met few of the amazing and beautiful people here. I have cuddled with few non-pros as well.
I am noticing a big change these days. Huge number of Male cuddlers are getting in, but where as the number of females are going down. 2 years back when I started using this site, it wasn't the case. Male to Female ratio was considerably better. Lots of females do join in, but they delete their account within 2-3 days.
Beginning of this week, one new female cuddler joined in, we both were messaging and after 2 days she sent me this message:

These are not my words, these are her exact words. I am just wondering what would make a woman to delete her account within 2-3 days ? She is not the first one do so, I have seen lots of female cuddlers running away !!! They really like the concept of cuddling, they wanna try it, but probably there are few males who are scaring them away.
Second time around on the site, never considered a pro until this time around - but it took thinking about it and talking to a number of pros and non pros to work it out in my brain.
I came to the conclusion that I view cuddling a pro as something similar to paying for a massage (not that kind, just a regular massage), which will run as low as $40/hour with a Groupon to $50-$60/hour for a standing membership to $100+/hr for a walk in or a fancy place.
Rates for both seem to go down (rate/hour) for longer sessions. I'm not sure if I'd say a massage is better or a cuddle is better (haven't had a pro cuddle yet, but I've had dozens of massages and have a monthly membership), but I'd be hard pressed to pay $100/hour cuddle when I can get a two hour massage for the same price, (also no added expenses for travel fees and whatnot).
Now, the masseuse expects a tip $10-$20/hour whereas the pros cuddling do not (I've only seen two profiles even address it), but still... I'm currently talking to a number of local pros to see if there's a good fit to experience a pro cuddle, some are very communicative and spend the time and energy to engage with me - bonus points!! Strangely enough I have had a number of not local pros that apply a lot more effort (and that I would book a cuddle with immediately just from all the shared pms if they were within reach), which tells me there's a variable amount of skill, experience, and effort in pros and their approach to the services they offer.
Between the local pros I'm talking with the rates are close for an hour $80-$100, but vary greatly for longer sessions - the money is a smaller thing than my comfort and connection to the pro(s) I eventually choose, but it does factor in - $200 for a 4 hour cuddle vs $380 for the same with another pro... it's not hard people - assuming all services are same same (meaning there's nothing nefarious/out of bounds going on), I'm going with the $200 for cuddles not $380!!! Just saying.
