Hamburger hoagie?
@achetocuddle very close! Super traditional where Iβm from & it is soooooo delicious ππ
So my job decided to give us employee appreciation days by bringing a bbq truck β¦ (I think we should have gotten a raise instead but all good π€·π»ββοΈ) didnβt know if I should go for brisket sandwich or pull pork sandwich, so got both β¦ and didnβt know whether to choose from Mac salad or cole slaw so got both β¦ letβs see how this goes.
@cuddles_ndream is it a HAMburger?
@m_r0 not really but yes lol β¦ it is seriously delicious, hereβs a video how to make and I highly recommend if youβre into burgers in general:
So NY officially sucks at making down south bbq πβ¦ both the brisket and pulled pork was flavorless , I did however prefer the pull pork sandwich β¦. The coleslaw was better than the Mac salad, but I did see and taste the attempt at an incredible Mac salad but it didnβt happen β¦. Verdict : If youβve ever had real authentic down south bbq, do not get it in Nyc.
Some things I cook, some things I order when traveling the country πΊπΊπΊ
Snacking time - garlic confit on a wheat toast. Worth every minute peeling those little suckers during the game yesterday!
@cuddles_ndream that looks so good. When In doubt have it all. Great logic there! Omnomnom!
When in Doubt have it all β₯οΈ
@m_r0 your cooking π§βπ³ looks so good! The pizza π! Wow
@achetocuddle thank you for the complements I love β€οΈ that there are people who love food as much as me! X
Yum! What a fun thread. ππ€€ Cooking is definitely my happy place. My presentation may not always look so great, but... π€·πΌββοΈ I usually stay gluten free and low carb, so I'm always making something. π€€π Here's a few ππ from the last month.
There is something incredibly delicious about Salt & Vinegar chips! ππ
Well hereβs one with @KozyKim and yours truly enjoying Lamb Lollipops and Bison Burger. Planning our Ohio shenanigans for the year π
@OhioMike / @KozyKim love the πΈ
Hereβs my favorite pizza I make:
-The βsauceβ is just heavy cream with either parm or pecorino sprinkle on top of it -Mozzarella -Gouda -Prosciutto -Campari tomatoes quartered and seasoned with sea salt, fresh cracked black pepper, and red pepper flakes! -Then the crust is brushed with garlic infused olive oil
@m_r0 It really shows that you have mastered pizza making π, what type of oven do you use?
@cuddles_ndream Thank you so much for your kind words
Iβve owned several pizza ovens over the years. Iβm down to two right now:
-An outdoor mobile pizza oven that can do a 16β pizza that uses wood, propane, or the combination of both. -A commercial indoor tabletop pizza oven that gets up to 832Β°F
@m_r0 both pics are π₯π₯ I can only imagine the taste of the pizza from just using wood πͺ΅
Such a good pic @OhioMike and @KozyKim. Kim, your manicure is so pretty.
Thank you @achetocuddle . The only thing better than meeting the peeps here is sharing a meal with them too! π€π
Oh yeah, your food looked good too @OhioMike.
@SnugglinShann your food looks so lovely and healthy! Low/no carb is not easy. Can I ask why you choose a low carb diet? X
@m_r0 smoother perfect pizza wow. The wood pizza oven can you please please share a link for one online so I may buy one xxxx
@MiaRain96
I bought mine from
https://bertello.com/
They also sell on Amazon, as well.
They offer 2 sizes: 12β, 16β. Iβve owned both. While the 12β is significantly harder to maneuver pizzas around due to its size, itβs much easier to work with in terms of heat management. The 16β is convenient bc of its size but the placement of the heating element (behind AND under the stone) presents a problem of easily burning the bottoms of the pizza. I mitigated this by installing a huge pizza stone made of volcanic clay imported from Italy.
