Yes, sometimes. I'd prefer to be in a monogamous relationship so that's why cuddling is nice, in the meantime.

  • Very rarely. When I do feel lonely, and I decide to socialize outside of my small social circle*, I’m often disappointed—which puts me off from human contact for a while.

    • I only do this because those people are not always available.
  • Short answer: yes, often

  • Yes I always feel lonely I really don't have any friends but maybe one or two I'm looking to get connected to people and get to no and have good and drama free friends so if ur out there please hit me up I'm a cool and outgoing person and love to do anything that is fun

  • I feel lonely often. I have a couple friends that I can trust and talk to but I have trouble makibg new friends because I get anxious ave at times I don't even want to make friends anymore.

  • All the time

I give a hug to everybody lonely ITT

  • I have friends I see often, but still I’m lonely. There’s probably a pill for that, but I take too much crap already.

  • @garrablanca Another person who watches Kurzgesagt? <3

  • At times I feel lonely because I don't really have a set circle of friends I'm super close to, but on the other hand I am the type of person who is 100 percent okay with being alone.

  • @Lorelei I'm fan of Kurzgesagt, it's so good! ?

  • Yes I am very lonely. I have not dated in about 4 years. Had a very rough break - up. To cuddle would be great.

  • Sometimes . It is normal. Even with all of the love and support in the world people can feel lonely. Re OP video, i really like how it illustrates the snowball effect, and how loneliness can perpetuate further isolation and self defeating behaviors and mind sets. Changing our perception of people and events. It truly is not just a state of mind, but a state of being.

  • Been feeling lonely for year now. Be nice to have someone to talk to and cuddle with.

  • Yes I feel lonely a lot. I can relate to @Bob58. A bad breakup years ago left me feeling lonely and I have bad anxiety.

  • Fortunate to not consider myself lonely. It happens every now and then when a friend can't hangout and nothing else is happening. Things haven't always been that way but following the advice in the video definitely helps or at least it did for me. The best way to have a friend is to be a friend. If the stats are right, I have like a 50/50 chance that the person I'm talking to is lonely and could use some connection. Sending hugs to all you lonely people out there :3

  • I may be married but there is always some sort of loneliness

  • @garrablanca Agreed! Their video on heroine addiction was amazing! It goes well with this because it explains so much about human behavior and societal problems. I love their work, and that voice could soothe me to sleep.

  • I've always been a loner. I'm like Clint Eastwood, I ride into town and everyone looks at me strangely because I'm alone and I don't say much, which people generally think is rather weird. People dislike not knowing what you are thinking. But I've learned to enjoy my own company. I've even gone on several vacations all by myself. I think lonely people need to learn how to be alone and how to enjoy their own company. There's a song that goes "people who need people are the luckiest people in the world". That was obviously written by an extrovert because for an introvert, it's not true at all.

  • Loneliness is part of the human condition. You can feel lonely and be surrounded by friends. Sometimes people say they are never lonely but I believe—and I am entering the opinion zone here—they just do not identify vague feelings of isolation/persecution/hopelessness/etc that are feelings of loneliness. The need for cuddling and physical contact is a survival instinct to ward off loneliness. You would have to be the most Pollyannish person in the world to never experience a feeling of loneliness—even for a moment.

  • Mmmh @FunCartel then you agree with the video, good!

I feel lonely pretty much all the time. Even when I'm surrounded by people. I don't know how to connect with others. Cuddling or asleep are the only times I don't feel lonely.

_Im extremely lonely, i moved to a new state, and as overly outgoing as i am, the people aren't as friendly as they were in the Midwest, i have started isolating and didn't mean to this cant be healthy...single 6yrs miss human contact, so this is a breath of fresh air <3 _

  • Yes, very. I miss having someone to hug and care about. Been a lot of hating on me over the past years and I'm tired and could use a good long hug.

  • I feel lonelier when I'm in a relationship, compared to when I'm single. Is that weird?

  • [Deleted User]leesimon (deleted user)

I try not to think about it too much!

  • @leesimon Kind of like breathing eh?

  • Never thought in 2019 I would admit I was lonely ...Females do not want a good man !
