What are your favorite movies and movie genres to watch during a good cuddle?
Horror being the highest surprised me lol but i personally enjoy the genre so I'm not complaining. haha
I've not cuddled much but the best specific films so far have been Coraline and Hot fuzz/Shawn of the dead (with the latter combo being in the same evening). I'd say comedy is the best genre but it only really works if your senses of humour mesh well, otherwise probably documentary as it gives you the chance to talk a lot more about what's happening without missing the plot/dialogue for the sake of a bit of bonding (as documentaries normally have pauses for showing footage).
For a cuddling session with someone new, I prefer nothing but ambient music in the background.
For cuddling with a well known friend, anything but a romance.
Platonic cuddles get that weird awkward moment during love scenes, at least for me.
I like watching Disney or Miyazaki films. Totoro would be an awesome cuddle buddy.
@Catloaf
Add a beard, and that’s basically me.
@CharlesTwisted or even in comedies, it can be awkward in the sex/romance scene :')
I'd like to watch a nice sci fi like blade runner, while reminiscing in the coziness of the cuddling. I also like horror, but whenever I've suggested it to cuddle buddies, they don't seem very eager about it
Comedy is the best! So much fun during a platonic cuddle.
I enjoy watching Friends marathons an quoting the best parts while cuddling.
I prefer no tv, movies or Netflix while cuddling. I feel bombarded by tech and marketing in everyday life as it is to have it invade a time to decompress and relax.
I had a pro a couple of weeks that liked the tv on. She was so preoccupied with the tv and commenting about it that I cut the session short. I will now not hire any pros that like to watch tv during a session. I am not there to provide them peripheral entertainment or have the tv distract their focus.
That seems a bit much. I can understand avoiding any pro who would insist on TV, the session is supposed to be about you after all. Simply liking TV while cuddling doesn't mean they cannot also like cuddling without TV. If she just dropped you for the TV, then that was an issue with her specifically.
Just my preference. I ask a lot of questions before I book because my time is valuable and I do not want to waste my free time with what I do not like. If I ask what ambiance they prefer while cuddling and they say tv or movie, then I am moving on. My travels take me to most of America’s largest cities and I find it fairly easy to match up my preferences with a cuddler. I am not going to waste my time with someone who cannot express that they are comfortable with however I want it. You would not believe how many pros do make it about them. There are great ones and then there are ones that think since I am paying they are doing me a big favor.
I had no idea that it was such a common issue, yikes... I think that's why reviews of cuddle partners are so important. That way the next person will know if their needs will be met or not.
@RaindropSweetie The problem with writing bad reviews is there is nothing stopping someone from making up something about you. I am not going to get banned over a bad session. Most sessions go great. But the bad ones do leave a bad taste in the mouth.
The other thing is karma doesn't necessarily even reflect the reality of a session either. Very rarely do I ever see a bad karma review on here and I think it's because people are afraid to leave them, or be honest for a number of reasons. That isn't to say everyone who leaves a good review is lying, but I do sometimes wonder just how much of it was actually meant, even my own.
There was a session I had last year and the gentleman left a review on my website which was just glowing, when I was giving the session at probably my absolute lowest. It's not like they have to lie in order to get their free hour for leaving a review- I appreciate constructive criticism and I let them know that. But I think he only left it because he could sense something was up and he wanted to make me feel better, or he feared he wouldn't get his free hour if he wrote that I was off.
I had a session where the pro wanted to watch a movie because I have a TV in my room. It seemed ok at first but it was just a bad idea. That's where the line between friend and pro gets blurred, I mean I'm friendly to everyone but the fact is you're a pro and I'm paying you for something, if I wanted someone to watch a movie with I would have invited someone I'm not paying over. What was I supposed to think? I felt kinda insulted someone would think I would pay them to watch a movie. After a while of just laying there and not really cuddling I concluded I would just not make a big deal about it and just end the session early. I paid her to watch a movie, it's on me for saying it's ok to turn on a movie I guess. Moral of the story is, never watch a movie with a pro if you actually want to cuddle. Made me decide I'm officially over pro cuddling. I'll just stick with cuddling with friends - expecially when there's a good movie on.
Not horror, you'll get nightmares, I learned the hard way 🤦

@mdx71 I agree wholeheartedly with you. I would never under any circumstance pay a pro-cuddler to watch a movie with me. Lol. To me that just seems ridiculous. If I wanted to watch a movie with someone I can invite anybody over without having to pay them. Lol. I'm paying for a Cuddling service on a intimate level that I require caressing and physical contact on a personal interaction level with someone. That being said, I guess clients can choose to pay their money for whatever way they want a session to go... Like they say... Different strokes... For different folks...
Well I'm just going to answer the question by the OP, which had zero to do with whether a cuddler was pro. I like romances for cuddling, even if platonic. Some of my favorites are: 1. Far and Away 2. Upside Down 3. …..and the little known gem Music From Another Room (Jude Law before most ppl knew who he was)
