@BellaSera yikes! Cold feet need to come with their own personal warning labels. Socks are OK as long as the boots and spurs come off before going horizontal.

It's all the little blood veins that are close to the surface, if you cool down ankles,wrists your neck or the top of your head you will actually lower your entire core temperature.
It also works in reverse if you are rocking high tops with thick warm socks good wrist bands and a good beanie you can be quite warm in shorts and a tee, providing it's not really cold.
