What is something interesting/odd about you?

You can share one thing. Or a few. 🙂

    For me it is that I tend to laugh a lot, and have a resting smiley face.

    I laugh at my own jokes, even those that I make in my head, or that pop-up randomly. So, sometimes if that happens when I am out, I can end up looking... Odd to others/mainly to strangers. Or at least I think I do. 😂

    Hmm. Well, I have an interesting reaction to sunlight.

    Immediate: Pounding headache
    After 10–15 min: Dizziness
    After 15–30 min: Nausea
    After 1–2 hrs: Hallucinations
    After 3–4 hrs: Loss of consciousness

    It didn't used to be quite this bad, but I figured I could build up an immunity. Get used to it a little at a time, you know? Turns out that wasn't a great idea....

  • I competed in an underwear 1.5 mile walk/run on the city streets and through a farmers market 2 weeks ago. Believe it or not there were more females than males. About 200 people total walked/ran.

    I have color/sound synesthesia.

    So I see and hear colors and musical tones simultaneously.

  • @DarrenWalker damnnnnn... I think I heard of something similar long ago. That's tough.

    @bigArch interesting... under... what?

    @CharlesTwisted that seems pretty cool!

  • I have never broken a bone, never had a cavity, but I had a hernia as a baby. I'm teaching myself to play guitar and I have no problem admitting I suck. I will brag about your cuddle skills.

  • @MrBodyHeatt Was it while you were benching baby rattles that you got a hernia?

    I rode in the World Naked Bicycle Ride, a 12 mile ride through the city, including downtown. I don't know the ratio of men to women but we get about 2,000 riders.

    @Babichev That is a lot of bicycle seats to burn after the ride.

  • Lol I guess as of now a lot of folks I cuddled with find it interesting that I do music. I write and sing my own songs

  • I can crush a pop can between my shoulder blades

    I like to pretend I'm a Disney princess and randomly sing around my room all the time. It's a habit I cant break from, but I love it! Not complaining lol

  • I laugh when I'm nervous or uncomfortable which over time has gotten me in some really awkward situations lol

  • @pmvines you are so awesome. i want to see you in a princess dress and tiara in your next profile pic.

    as a child, my family lived all over the world, most notably i lived in Lebanon in the 1980's. I was not allowed to go to school because buses were being bombed, etc. no, i was not an army brat. the why is a story for another day! ;)

  • I’ve been singing karaoke since I was 8. I’ve sang a few certain songs a million times but I still need to see the words or else I forget them and mess up while singing it😩

    I sleep with my head at the bottom of the bed and my feet toward the headboard.

    @UKGuy: Pippi Longstocking.

  • @LorenaSaint he probably just didn't want to talk with me. Though, I had a guy once CONVINCED I was laughing at him or something even though, I explained I am just nervous. He was like "nervous about what??" I couldn't explain I was just nervous. Our call ended so soon. 😂

  • I am a very slow reader. It takes me about 2 hours to read 10 pages of Harry Potter.

  • Wish I could say. My depression makes me think there isn't anything. I'm just... me. I don't think there's anything special about me, nothing interesting or odd.

  • @UKGuy Because you have legs for a head and a head for legs. Another enigmatic riddle solved.

    Next!

  • @LorenaSaint
    I have the same problem. Would laugh at the most inappropriate times. That was really a problem during army basic training. Bad memories. Not as bad now as it was when I was younger, but yeah... I feel your pain.

  • As bad as it sounds, I laugh when people die. It's not because I'm not sad. I get this coping mechanism from my dad's side of the family. We bounce between crying our hearts out, giggling a bit hysterically in disbelief at random times, and cracking jokes. Then we kind of handle it like in a denial or matter of fact kind of way that serves to keep the feeling that the person is still there. We don't talk about the person as if they died much except for past tense when referring to them. When we have a family funeral, it's the only time people don't look at me in a disgusted way. People handle grief in different ways. This way helps bounce back faster.

  • I can’t wiggle the fingers on one hand without the fingers on the other hand doing the same involuntarily . I don’t know why, 😂

  • @RaindropSweetie I can definitely relate.

  • @adorable48 wow interesting. I was watching a documentary about something like that. I forgot what it's called it was I think about a man that couldn't join the military because of it. He was unable to climb the Horizontal Ladder/ because both his hands would do the same thing.

  • @Lovelight It’s not quite like that. It’s like when I intentionally wiggle the fingers on one hand. Like when one hand falls asleep and I’m waking it up. It’s pretty funny
