@adorable48 interesting. For him it was when he grabs onto something his other hand would also form the same way making it difficult/impossible to climb/properly. So, for you it's just with wiggling, and if your hand gets numb?
I have an awkward pen grip, probably because I started picking up pens and scribbling when I was 1, then taught myself to draw and write from the ages of 2-4 and it just stuck with me. Nobody in my family really noticed or cared until I underwent IQ testing when I was 12 (my mother got me into one of those hokey GATE programs). Apparently it affected my score and took me down 5-10 points - just goes to show that IQ testing really is worthless and not indicative of much. The grip causes me to write slower, and also causes my words to fall away from the margin on a sheet of paper. I got picked on by teachers for that in school, and even as an adult I still can't correct it no matter how hard I try. When I pick up a pen to write, I do receive some strange looks if they're paying attention to my hand.
My touch is very therapeutic. Positive vibes only
I'm strangely obsessed with words and language in general.
@Sashamcgee - How does that manifest itself?
I like to go outside😂
@alohat Yes, in a video game world that is a rarity indeed.
@UKGuy I nerd out over words. I like to learn new ones, learn new languages, share language freely and the like.
I'm a highly sensitive person with a strong non quitting spirit. I pay clinical attention to what people do in addition to what they say. I detach myself from people and situations which makes me seem aloof. I question motives and intent a lot almost to the point of pushing others away. I speak my truth even if it ends connections before they begin. That make make me seem neurotic at best and bi polar at worst. I'm always probing my gut intuition and looking at the possible end games. As nothing is sure. Nothing is permanent. People come into your life for a season and a reason. I just adapt to the point where I'm always verifying. Even as I give the benefit of the doubt.
I have a weird compulsion when I see someone in autopilot mode to break them out of it. See it a lot in the service industry.
Employee behind the counter: "Sorry about your wait." Me grabbing a handful of my stomach and looking at my bellybutton: "What's wrong with my weight?"

I always anticipate their leaving. That detachment keeps me at peace.
